My local Wallys restocked Legacy wave 1…I guess they heard some’or’otherStrip and went “Dragstrip!!!”

 

Still 2 Shadowstrips at a Wal-Mart reasonably near to me. I've had a ton of luck finding things at more rural stores. Wal-Mart is sends a couple of cases or so bare minimum to every store it seems and increases by sales volume. A lot of retailers do this. I'm guessing that since there's less people in the smaller areas they tend to have stuff longer and clearance them slower. I've had a lot of luck shopping off the beaten track, if you want to invest the time and gas.
Best thing though is Pulse Premium. Saves a lot of time and frustration, and sure it costs money, but pay the late tax on these figures plus gas searching and it looks cheap.

 

I never saw any at my area location.

I got one on HP. Then about a month later found one in store. But that’s the only case of that wave I have seen.

 

For what it's worth, ran out to visit my folks, took my own advice and found 4 retro Gung-Hos and a Shadowstrip. Already had them from Pulse, but proves my point!  

 

Can someone post the link to the Retro Pink Hotrod please. I know it’s sold out but I like to torture myself with false hope.

You mean the legacy one or the g1 one? The g1 one was back in stock during the convention and is out again. Legacy isn’t sold out, it never went up.

Is the gears reissue on Walmart the one that came out a few years ago or some bootleg. I am scared to order it. It's 17.99

 

Should be the reissue, but if you’re really scared of bootlegs you can get it for cheaper from Amazon and if you’re a prime member it’s a little under $15.

 

Actually got my Retro Hot Rod today

 

Retro Hot Rod delivered today. One has a banged up corner, but whatever. They're here.

 

I'm still surprised he has not shown up in stores yet. I see Starscream everywhere.

 

Same, I asked around in one of my FB groups if anyone saw him in stores out of curiosity, but no one did. Locally, the NYC region gets pretty crappy distribution in general so can't go by that.

Maybe now Hot Rod will hit the US shelves.

 

Even a lot of the recent BW reissues get to Walmart stores later compared to online. Retrax and Wolfang took like half a year to finally appear in store. Iguanus and K-9 will probably be the same

 

Mine arrived in a padded envelope, made it through the mail with just a slightly creased flap.

I'm honestly glad it was delivered at all, the tracking number was stuck at "shipping label created" in Trout NC for a while, just like my retro Starscream that never arrived.

 

Anyone know why Retro Hot Rod seems to be an online exclusive? It's odd that 'Screamer made it to shelves but not him. So odd.

Are any of the G1 reissues shelf warming still ? Is Optimus Prime long gone at this point ?

 

I haven’t seen any in a while. But Showzstore has been listing some 4th party G1 figures. I ordered OP the other day.
