The first person I talked with on chat didn't want to give it to me since he said the sale one was sold by a Marketplace seller, which I'm pretty sure is BS (couldn't find any mention of a marketplace seller in my order emails at least). I was disconnected from the chat due to inactivity while I was looking through my emails, but I reconnected and the 2nd rep gave it to me after she talked with her supervisor, I didn't even have to ask her to escalate it.

In other news, my Walmart has Velocitron deluxes on clearance for $19. Well, Blurr and Burnout anyway (the only 2 they had). I only bought Blurr. This was in Virginia.

My mind can't comprehend a world where we are still drowning in Dragstrips with the others MIA.

 

yet this has happened pretty consistently lately. the 1st wave saturates, the others really lag behind.

At walmart this reached a new peak! wave 1 and those BW repaints clogged pegs. The next wave deluxes never made it there last year, as far as I know.
Target was almost as bad, but they did get some of the other waves, they just sold out super quick in store and only barely trickled in.

Probably depends on the area for Target though, my area was able to see all the waves, restocks as well, and getting bought up too, rarely see any peg warming actually. Only for the store exclusives if anything. I wonder why walmart is slow with their restocks as of late...
