No movement on my Cosmos order.  

 

To each their own is what I have to say to all of that...and to be back on topic my clampdown got shipped, which I forgot about and don't need...so anyone need it? cost plus shipping is all I ask..if not back to the store it goes!

 

When are you back in LA? I might take it off your plate if I can skip the shipping.

I did a live chat for the hell of it and was told there is high demand and orders are being fulfilled "in order" and can't guarantee mine will be fulfilled.

Not sure what that means... but that's why I got one from a board member. Missed the Pulse orders and have no faith in Walmart.

 

I feel like the "in order" claim might be BS. I got my order in at 10:10am when Cosmos was flickering between in stock and sold out, and it took like 20 attempts, so I'd assume I was among the end of the line if were talking "in order." Yet mine did already get shipped.

 

Whoa. Walmart just let me know my Cosmos is on its way. Oct 14 delivery. Stoked.

 

Mine was 12 minutes before that -- 9:58 ET. Will complain (probably to little effect) if it doesn't come through.

I don't know enough about WalMart, but do they have many distribution centers like Amazon where the east coast may be fulfilled first because they were supplied first and other regions fulfilled later?

 

Clampdown shipped yesterday so I assumed I was never getting Cosmos. Then I got a shipping notice for Cosmos.

I already ended up getting one for $40 from a friend, which not long after I found a Runabout at Target and ended up doing a trade with him.

 

And I got my order in a couple minutes before the hour and mine hasn’t. So yeah, let’s call BS on that. (Not begrudging you getting one).

 

I hope it's actially cosmos and not all the burn outs and blurs shelf warming

 

OH MY GOD. If I actually get a Cosmos, I'll sell it to someone at cost. I am NOT trying to be a dick.. I am NOT a dick. I just thought "Hey, if someone paid retail for a Runabout, maybe they'll trade me for this Cosmos I paid retail for." Apparently I'm in the wrong. Jesus Christ. I am not some scalper asshole. I was just being logical about it.

Now let's see what I ACTUALLY get...

 

Honestly if anyone wants a Scourge I've got one, bought him a few weeks ago on impulse and now I just wanna get rid of him

 

I am tempted to order one of those randomly packed voyager sets for 23…but part of me knows I will be annoyed that the seeker is supposed to be “sparkless.” It’s funny how one word on a box can turn me off to a perfectly fine toy.

 

I normally avoid these situations like the plague, but IF you get a Cosmos... Do whatever you like with it. Trade that sucker like you originally planned. One poorly executed retail exclusive for another is a darn fine trade if you ask me and you're putting a Cosmos into the hand of someone who wants it either way. You've always been cool to folks on the boards, so no one's got the right to begrudge you whatever you decide.

 

I’m the guy who helped out Thundershot. Hey if Walmart sent the figure he pre ordered. He can do what he wants with it.

 

I dunno about trading Cosmos away... I've had him out of box and in-hand for a few days now, and he's basically the Transformers equivalent of a teddy bear. I had a hand-me-down G1 Cosmos as a kid, and I love my Thr30 Cosmos, but this one makes me feel like a happy kid everytime I fiddle with him. He's the most addictive little guy I've had I hand in a long while.

There’s no rhyme or reason for our Cosmos preorder to ships or not. My buddy who placed the order before I did , is still in Delayed status.

 

That's a great way of explaining him, actually. He's just so cuddly and silly looking, you can't help but love him. Doesn't mean he's a perfect toy, but he's doggone cute. *nods* I approve. "Transformers equivalent of a teddy bear." I cannot unsee this now and I haz a glad.

 

Whatever happened to the Shadowstrip and Fracture pre-orders??
