1 Soundwave in stock for trade in my back room! Other stuff too.
If you want an ER Bluestreak, I can help. Not much otherwise.
Well Soundwave was $40 and Bluestreak was $20...got any extra Brunts or Allicons? I only have one Cog. Weaponizers, Modulators, Fossilizers, Mega-Barney, Kup....make me an offer! lol
Um, do you want TWO ER Bluestreaks? I can make it happen.
got lucky, was cleaning up my inbox when the notification of in stock showed up. give it a try, you never know. it's usually hit or miss for me
Saw a third party seller had Netflix Deep Cover in stock yesterday and justified the scalper tax of $40 with shipping to not have to go to Walmart and risk the Rona for the only deluxe of that wave that I really wanted by the end of the week. That said watch them put the Wave 3 Netflix Deluxes up on their site today.
Kinda strange seeing posts of people finding Netflix Walmart exclusives in-store recently, then Soundwave shows up back in stock online today.
I found a Netflix Optimus 3-pack at my local Walmart yesterday. They also had a few Kingdom and SS 86 figures—fullest I’ve seen the shelves since last December.
Finally Managed to score a Netflix Soundwave and these other guys (I really need to own every Sideswipe variant for some reason) on eBay. Cost a little extra (35 over retail) but there’s no Walmart’s in the city. seller appreciated the large purchase and gave me free shipping so That helps.
just glad to finally have an Earthmode Soundwave. Now I anxiously await the next exclusive hunt...
they probably got new shipments in.
I feel like this what happened with the first Netflix wave. Was scare in the first few months, but then suddenly became easily found months later at stores. Doubtful the same will happen with the BB and Elita wave because they are sought after for resale.
don't know if it's been reported...but netflix Cheetor is up on walmart.com
Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Deluxe WFC-K4 Cheetor - Walmart.com - Walmart.com
waiting for the other 3
That’s the regular Cheetor...
That's the regular Kingdom Cheetor, not the Netflix one.
I was actually looking for Bumblebee when I spotted Optimus. I’m happy either way. Something tells me we’ll see that Bumblebee mold again—probably in an Amazon exclusive set with two other figures for $70 or something .
I don't think the resale scenario happens as often as people think. There just isn't any profit in it. Hard to find Deluxes sell for $40 on eBay. Factor in shipping, fees and taxes and you'll be lucky to break even.
My guess is there is simply a lot of collectors who grab them as soon as they see them on the shelves. Which is easy to do when sites like this let other collectors know when they are available in specific stores.
oh sh*t...my bad
I think FOMO is driving sales big time. With some figures selling for double retail price or way more in the aftermarket, there's pressure to buy as soon as you can even if you're not sure you like a figure, because it probably won't be there later if you decide you do want it.
As someone who works in management and retail... yes, this does happen. I've held meetings about what I call the Hot Iron Sales. Basically getting brand new releases on the shelf as soon as they arrive because collectors will buy them up right away. And then getting restock asap. Because if you wait too long every store will have them and then the figures will just sit on the shelf.
Action figures, trading cards... even to a lesser extent DVDs. The earliest sales are always the biggest.
I wouldn't bank on it. It's a licensed vehicle mode from a company that's extremely wary about Transformers. That's why Bug Bite has Cliffjumper's alt mode, the deal was Bumblebee and that's it. I'm not saying it definitely won't get reused, but I wouldn't bet it does.
