I don't want to put my tin foil hat on but one thing that was weird to me was that I never saw these go up originally. The listing was there and just hung and hung and hung. Finally, I got a "back in stock" alert and snagged one. But when I went back to look at the page again it was gone. I almost felt like there was only 1 and I snagged. Can't be true, but that's what it felt like. Then today I look at the page and it has 9 reviews. Only thing, every review has this blurb about "this review collected as part of a promotion." Whaaaa? Anyone know anything about that? I almost feel like they gave the majority out to people for reviews lol.

I've gotten emails from places (not just Walmart) that ask me to review whatever my most recent purchase was, and say that if I put up a review, then my email will go into a drawing for a gift card. So I don't think these reviews are from people who received the figure for free, I think they're all from people who legitimately bought the figure and just want a gift card too :)

Do the Walmart Marketplace stores sell Transformers? I haven't been to one in years.

Last I checked, it's mostly hot wheels and dollar bin toys. Maybe a cheapo Lego set or two, but don't expect anything outside of maybe Authentics

I still need Netflix Bumblebee,Elita-1 but I'm NOT PAYING what Walmart is trying to do is scalp on their page. $39.99 for Netflix Bumblebee and $31 for Elita-1 NO thank you Walmart and your underhanded ways of doing business. If i can get a Netflix Bumblebee from SOMEONE HERE that would be awesome cause i need 1 but only AT COST no extra. United We Find Sandtroopers logo line.

The local Neighborhood Market has never stocked Transformers since it opened a few years ago. Pretty much what Complex said with cheaper toys. Last time I was there, they had $1 Hot Wheels and some 5 packs, basic MLP and Barbies, the basic WWE figures, some of those Marvel $10 "titan" 12 inch 5POA figures, a few very small LEGO sets, some smaller travel board games, a few small buckets of play-doh, light up off brand light saber swords, and some cheaper $1 type toys like bags of plastic army men, silly putty, yoyos, etc.

The only things I saw that are beyond the basic selection was the Captain America BAF Red Skull wave a few years ago for Christmas and TMNT 2012 figures.

I haven't been to Walmart in weeks since our county in PA has sorta exploded with Covid cases, but, historically, they usually put up a row of bins in the main aisles for "stocking stuffers" before Christmas. In years past, they had BotBots, Rescue Bots, Cyberverse 1-Steps, etc..

I'm curious to know if there was anything good in those stocking stuffer sections this year.

I didn’t see BotBots in those bins but did see Cyberverse 1 steps and Rescue Bots. Our county was one of the 10 worst in the country with COVID so I try and minimize trips. With my schedule, though, when I do go, it’s after work and around 9 pm, no one is there. Especially the toy section.

Can a figure be a shelfwarmer if they were only released a couple weeks ago?

With the way the flippers buy everything up in some zip codes, being on a shelf for 6 hours is shelfwarming.

How were you able to get Hardhead? I’ve never seen him available on Walmart’s website or app. Congrats on getting him though!

Not really. I only really classify a shelf warmer as one when they are still hanging around long after their waves. Some good examples would be:
    • Seige Chromia
    • ER Grapple
    • Netflix Hotlink
    • Studio Series Scrapper
All figures that hung around far after their next wave.

This is a good way to put it! If a figure can still be found 2 waves after it was last released OR roughly 6 months after last release, it is a shelf warmer.

And of course it depends on the store and area. For example, Grapple hasn't been a shelfwarmer in MI but dear lord is Earthrise Starscream a shelfwarmer at every Meijer I walk into.

Also Grapple was carried over, right? So you're bound to see more of him, and they could be new ones.

No, Grapple was only in Wave 1 - Starscream was the one that was in both wave 1 and 2.
