So last week I finally got a shipping notice for Elita. I got it on Tuesday, with an estimated arrival of ... Tuesday (ie same day). Given that she was supposed to be shipping out of Atlanta I thought it was possible, but unlikely since unless a package leaves Atlanta early in the morning it never reaches me same day.

Well, she stayed in Atlanta until Friday, by which point the USPS just gave up on their tracker. And according to WalMart, she spent the weekend in ... Florida. In fact, she was listed in Sarasota, and then very briefly yesterday she was listed as having moved to Tampa, before WalMart's tracker updated to remove Tampa and just say "in transit to next facility."

I get that the USPS is getting hammered, but going from very nearby, to an entirely different state is a bit much.

edit: In better news, I got Bumblebee last week at least (also shipped).

correct. It is 100% a load of crap. Just explained the situation to my wife, and her response was succinct: “That’s unethical.”

 

No idea what is going on with my Bumblebee. Got an email saying it shipped but it looks like the post office just got the tracking #, not the actual package yet. This was on the 9th. Supposed to be here on the 15th.

I found him in the store for $2 cheaper so 'if' he arrives, I was just going to return it. I should just call Walmart and see if I can just cancel it since it seems to lost.

 

Maybe Walmart’s logic is “Since we’re selling leader classes at $25, might as well make Bumblebee $50.” Sad times... hope he is way more available at $20 soon!

Either they are cashing in on the BB craze or it's the site's algorithm seeing the 3rd party seller prices.

Nope. Walmart seems to be scalping their own exclusives. I'm very happy that I lucked out and just found one in stores, this is appalling. There's handling an exclusive poorly but to mark up your own exclusives like this...
