Yeah, Walmart has been matching Amazon's raised prices on Power Ranger stuff for several years now. A couple times I ordered a short packed monster figure, shipped to store, and then took it straight to the customer service desk to refund/repurchase. The employees didn't mind because they thought the website should never cost more than the actual store.

 

For what it's worth, looks like Samsung pay is giving 30% cash back on Walmart.com toy purchases (and various other purchases).

 

Dang, wish I'd known when I ordered Skytread.

 

Wonder why Walmart has some Deluxes in the scalping price of 28 and others in 15.

Could be a issue on their code like Amazon? In some cases Amazon offers prices bigger than retail, losing clients that can buy the same items in a lot of other places.

Walmart compares prices with Amazon, and vice versa, there are scalpers on Amazon offering these 2 Deluxes in 28 but also the other 2 Deluxes that Walmart was offering in 15.

 

Don’t know if it has been spotted but I saw this at my local Walmart, I guess this should help the MISB crowd.

Nope, there are a few posts on various Walmart threads showing photos of correct orientation Hot Rods coming out now.

 

Yup. Various sightings across the country on Facebook. Hasbro fixed it, which now leads to yet another reissue of the mold and now it comes with a variant.

I pity collectors who are stuck in such a rut. That's got to suck.

 

I don't think it's really a different run. I've never heard of anyone finding more than one let alone a case full. The one I found was in the middle of atleast a do en backwards ones on the shelf I'd say it happens more often than the usual mispackaged stuff but there aren't enough of them out there to be a new corrected run

 

It is a new run. One of the Facebook posts showed it was an entire case's worth of swapped position boxes.

Besides. You really think someone went to the trouble of swapping one case around or Hasbro sent only one out? More will pop up.

 

Yup it's definitely a new run. Saw like 30 of these guys a local-ish Walmart all facing the correct direction. I checked the tape and all were sealed (yes I checked all of them; I was bored...).

 

I received my orders with Siege Skytread but my pickup order for Sideswipe hasn’t came through yet.

 

Anyone had luck buying something overpriced on Walmart.com that was sold by Walmart and returning it to the store to rebuy it for the correct price?

Picked up both Sideswipe & Skytread Wednesday night. I still have Hound & Cog in my list, waiting for that ridiculous $28 price to drop. I have a feeling I’ll find them on the pegs at Target before then!

 

Wait, is Siege showing up in Walmart stores yet?

 

Unknown, but a couple of the wave one deluxes have been in stock and sold by walmart.com for shipping or store pick up for $15 a pop and the other two like $30 all week. Buy all 4 they still nail you for MSRP.

 

Hopefully it'll be cheaper once it goes into stores.

 

Just online. Sideswipe & Skytread are $15. Hound & Cog are $28. Showed up on site Monday.
