They’re not telling anyone to run out, you don’t have to run out anywhere to get a preorder, but the fact remains that Walmart bought these figures from hasbro and hasbro has little say in what Walmart does with them after that. It’s entirely on Walmart for how they handle the preorders.

We’ve sat through how many many months of Fan First streams telling us when preorders starts for whichever product at Walmart?

Hasbro is getting people’s hopes up. They should be upfront with realistic expectations. I think we all know now how Walmart handles it.

Just gives us the in store date and the SKU# cause that is all that is really useful.

    Also Hasbro.

Mcfarlane has A LOT OF exclusives and many of them are time exclusives. Looks like Hasbro is not familiar with this concept.

Can you imagine Black Friday for Walmart.com in a month? There will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth .

Agreed Amazon is fine and has it more together, Walmart and especially Target are no good. Add Walgreens to the mix and, well it's not good.

Not sure about Amazon, considering the conehead two pack seems to have been some what a debacle. Walgreens though I've never ever had issues with. Walmart is eh, probably a good thing they have physical stores... I'm sure if it wasn't for covid people would probably be ok to go out to the stores and get their exclusives.

Well, Netflix wave 2 aren't in stores yet either. Hopefully this is just a 2-3 week delay for them to arrive from overseas. After all they only recently have been out in Asia.

(I realize that Walmart hasn't earned this optimism.)

Yes, you are correct about the coneheads I was lucky and ordered them day 1 and sorry for those who might not yet have them. It is encouraging to hear your success at Walgreens. I never found a Ratchet in store only Walgreens.com which is fine.

Which is what I think most people are having issues with Walmart.com they're orders being jacked up and not fulfilled. Walgreens.com seems to do just fine with their exclusive figures although probably helps when they don't really sell much figures online unlike Walmart.

If I can, I may get Mindwipe as I missed out on the TR release, and if Weirdwolf has the breakage issue fixed, I'll try to get him too.

In my limited experience, Target does eventually get the product in stock on its website. The seekers and clones have been available for a few weeks now. Same was true of the Rainmakers last year. It was only when they were first released that distribution created a false scarcity.

Yes. Agreed. I was nervous that I would not find Skywarp and Thundercracker but like you state once the releases date came I found them shortly after, this is why I am optimistic about Thrust.

    Whoa.

My G1 Blaster Reissue got canceled. Didn't think he was that high in demand.

Weird, since it shows in-stock for order on the website...

My Blaster was cancelled as well. Ordered right after it went up. Not too worried about getting him eventually but still lame.

I received a notice that all my preorders for the Netflix TFs I ordered (Bumblebee, Spoiler Pack, and Soundwave) were delayed. My order for Elita 1 was outright canceled. One of my friends also had his Elita 1 and Impactor orders canceled. I'm curious to know how widespread this is. Did anything similar happen to anyone here?
