Anyways, I found it interesting that for a second it looked like Minerva was still available for shipping to me.

But guess not since it just spins on the shipping option. I have one already but posting the link if anyone is still looking on the site for her.

 

Facts:
- Walgreens has shuttered stores in select areas. Those areas are disproportionately in California.
- CA governor tweeted that CA would cut ties with Walgreens over the decision not to sell certain products in states other than CA.
-Walgreens is not currently exiting the state entirely.

Beyond these facts things get murky and political fast. Long story short Walgreens exclusives should remain available for most (all?) people in CA. Especially when you consider e-commerce options.

 

I was actually able to order Minerva online about a week - week and a half ago after thinking I missed out. Have the Walgreens box at home now and terrified to open it and find it isn't Minerva. I never owned the original and the original G1 Headmasters are some of the greatest G1 toys.

 

Was the G1 version available in the US or was it only available in Japan back in the day?

 

G1 version of Minerva was Japan only, our version was Nightbeat.

 

Ordered Minerva on the sixth. Went with the only option, which was shipping. Still saying "processing your order." That seems too long to me. It let me order, so hopefully there's not some kind of complication here.

 

I bought shampoo and candy with my Minerva order so I could get free shipping months ago. Surprised she's still available. I was sure she was going to get scalped to high heaven and back.

 

I was shocked she was still available too (she had been out of stock previously for all online options).

I also finally opened the box, and it was TF Minerva.
