Is it possible that the Voyager Megs figure is going to nothing more than an upscaled Legends figure?

I noticed that the bot and alt modes look strikingly similar. :/

Do you mean the Leader? There was no Voyager shown.

Anyway, absolutely not, they're not similar at all beyond both being tanks. Also I think you meant to put this in the "Toys" forum.

My apologies people...had the incorrect wording. Yes; Leader.

I just get the feeling that the figure is going to have almost 90% 95% of the same transformation that the Legends figure has.

Leader Class Megatron is very clearly a brand new mould. Just because he turns into a tank doesn't mean he's based on the Universe Legends mould, or the Classics Deluxe mould or anything else, for that matter.

And that's not necessarily a bad thing. Hegemon has basically the same transformation as Legends RTS Megatron and he's awesome.

A good transformation is a good transformation. Sharing a transformation doesn't mean a figure is an upscaled version of another. Prime deluxe Optimus and Prime First Edition Optimus share a transformation but they are both REALLY good figures.

It's like the debate from years ago, regarding Energon Starscream and G2 Smokescreen, where people swore up and down that Screamer was a retool of Smokescreen, but they just shared a similar transformation scheme. You know, something incredibly common with car altmode TFs.
