Heya, kids. I so infrequently get to share art with you guys these days (such are the trials and tribulations of being a mature and/or responsible adult). That said, here's a little something I've been cooking up as a mascot for a friend's website. She stands on her own merits, but also works as a sequel of sorts to the "Seraphim" piece I posted a few months back. Run a search for it, should you care to. Enjoy, and feel free to serve up critiques, questions, and recipes for autumn treats. I dig hot apple cider, myself. EDIT: Actually attaching the picture would most likely be the best way to share it.
Not a fan of anthro characters, but that's actually pretty bad ass. I would have gone for darker colours personally, but still great.
Interestingly, I absolutely agree with the light color, anthropomorphic, Digimon-esque critiques. All of 'em. The problem is that this piece has to play to the preferences of the web community targeted, while retaining as much of my personal influence as is possible. The end result is a touch fluffier than I'm accustomed to, but apparently well-suited to the audience for which it's intended. Some kind of role-playing thing. I'm not completely certain. What I do know is that I managed to take the request for a Fox-girl and warp it into something more mechanical and vaguely insectile. That much, at least, makes me happy.
