Sell Runamuck. I paid Armada Side Swipe $7 when it first came out, and I got the Battle In A Box set for free: I still regret spending all that money on this mold.

Sadly that isn't an option to me. I treasure the toy gifts my family gives me as it is so rare. My sister who knows nothing about this hobby got Runamuck for me. Even though it's a crap mold, it is now a prize in my collection. Now I just need a Runabout to keep my OCD on teams and duos from going crazy.

Treadshot. He at least has a mildly interesting car mode.

It's a design flaw. You're supposed to be able to spin the turret with the tiny crank on the side, but you're also supposed to be able to rotate the turret independently from that crank because the latter locks into position in tank mode, so something's gotta give eventually.

Yeah, it’s a shame. My megaton’s turret still ratchets, and it’s nice, but at least the turret on galvatron isn’t drooping in robot mode. It’s still able to hold its positions surprisingly well.

I see it. More so the battle mode combination.

I remembered Galaxy Force Noisemaze (Cybertron Sideways) as one of the best deluxes of the Unicron Trilogy.
I got the Korean version from BBTS for $55, and I am not sure it's worth all that money.
Very tight joints, but for sure it's much more poseable than 99% of the trilogy's figures.
    Recommended, but not for $55.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong with bendy Prime. If I don't attach the grill to the front of the truck, then everything lines up great and the arms line up flush to the side of the tuck.
When I connect the grill though, the bottom flap pushes against the angled bits on the wheel hubs, and push the front apart. So then the wheels want to bow out a bit, and the arms don't quite sit flush. It's almost like it was designed without those little angled bits, and they added them in last minute.
Or is there some trick to it that I just don't know?

You can see the difference here. With the left side lined up you can see how bowed out the right is on the top one.

Though I'm sure this is something people discussed back when these came out, and I'm just 20 years behind.

Interesting... I never paid too much attention, despite having 11 variants at some point. This says a lot on how much attention you can give to each item once you become a completist...
So, my Nemesis Prime does the same - a bit less, maybe, but it's clearly happening. As soon as the plate is pushed to sit flush against the chest, the two arms are pushed out. Once you lock the front grill into place, everything sits together fine, albeit with some tension.
I only have this copy so I can't say if it's just two data points or something systematic for this mold.

My bendy Prime does this too, genuinely think it’s just a tolerance issue with the mold. I don’t think there’s a way to fix it or really do much about it.

The final part of my nostalgia trip has arrived. I am reviewing most of them.
I realised I bought two Noisemaze copies by mistake... gonna stick with the brand new Korean one.

Keep one as a Mass Production Type and army build maybe?

Yes and also very expensive, but I don't recall if it was different in the show itself, just the toy to give it more value as a repaint.

Edit: nah, very different in show too. Whoops

At least I know I'm not crazy and doing something wrong.

Still glad I got the toy. It's probably the most fun Armada figure I've got so far.

The thing about the Noisemaze Mass Production Type is that the toy uses the Hasbro tooling, so thre are differences from the regular one.

I recently boxed mine up again ,as I'm selling him on along with all my other Energon and Cybertron stuff. The only ones I'm keeping are the ones with true MiniCons, and a few other molds that really still appeal (The Downshifts for example).
