Do you ever think "I shall play with one of my Transformers" and then stand in front of you collection paralysed by choice?

Sorry, I put this in the wrong forum.

I just occasionally admire them all in the display, I don't play with them.

But what you described is indeed a 1WP. :)

Even when you do manage to make a choice, they are in such a nice pose that you just don't have the heart to touch it.

Bigger first world issue is having to take them all down and dust them.

Nope. No desire to 'play' with them. First world problem is the headache trying to rearrange a collection of unnecessary adult figures so you can admire them 'better'. Even with a cpl of hundred it's a ball ache so those with thousands must die inside.

LOL, I very rarely mess with the bots in my display, most of the ones I tinker with are out and about already.

But I do walk past my display (it's in the master bedroom) and will back up and stare at it.

Sometimes my wife will have to redirect me or keep me on task.

    "Oh, sorry! I'm getting it."

    Not the worst problem.

Yup, that's my problem. The ones I like the most tend to be in the nicest poses because they're the ones I cared enough about to put in the effort. My other problem is that my display is so crowded now that, to play with one figure, I have to remove half a dozen that are in the way.

Mostly my "playing" with toys isn't so much transforming them but finding interesting or funny poses to put them in and take pictures. I do still sometimes grab one to flip back and forth while watching a movie or something though.

It was cold in my house, this morning. I cranked the heater. The water took to long too heat up for my shower, too.

    Take that, world.

I don't play with my collection so much, save for a few of the more durable figures, but there are plenty of times I'm just walking past and find myself transfixed, drawn to my collection like a moth to a light bulb. Then I start rearranging the line up, adjusting poses, and before you know it half an hour has past and I'm running late again.

    Worth it though.

Me being the type to mess around with my figures and transforming them, this is a thing. It’s especially hard when all the figures are good....

Replace "play with" with "take some pictures of" and yes. All the time. That's part of the reason I don't post as many pictures as I used to. I can almost never decide on a figure to showcase and by the time I do it's bed time
