After Cyclonus and Hot Spot/Onslaught I didn't see a Voyager until TR Wave 3. It was through the kind offers of people here that I filled in the gaps I wanted. Battle Core did appear in Hamleys at a stupid price (natçh) and was in a few Smyths briefly. That was about it.

All these reports of or offers for Voyagers going dirt cheap.......May as well have been on Venus as far as this Town is concerned.

I'm still bitter you can tell.

 

I'd recommend trying @tikgnat's holding-the-offending-item-over-a-kettle's-spout-whilst-boiling trick first, it's easy to overdo/hit a wider area than intended as I found to my chagrin whilst de-stressing a Wreckage-repaint Bludgeon and shrank/deformed one of his purple blades at the same time!

I was quite lucky in that I only needed up to Hotspot. Went UW with Bruticus, got Breakneck and Quicksilver from eBay before they went crazy money, and the remaining stunicons and Airraid from Captain Buttocks.

So yeah, quite a pain to get the four special teams if you're not online.

 

If anyone spots the original wave 1 CW Optimus Prime voyager for a tenner please grab it for me...my local Smyths stores arent so local...plus over 2 weeks to payday.

Great read. Mine is still in his box unopened as I got Downbest in the same order and didn't want either to be overshadowed. I'll keep him that way so when I have a liw and dark day I have something to look forward to.

 

Even though I've no interest at all in the Beast Wars stuff those photos are fantastic as always, @Sixo.

I've spent my day gardening and my evening applying decals to my Dibot legion (finally). Urgh, back to work tomorrow.

I've seen a few at retail of Battle Core Op - and it's definitely worth picking up because he's going for around £40 on Ebay at the moment (probably due to a combination of relative rarity and the Primo Vitalis upgrade kit for him).

Not the cheapest but I had gotten this massive sheet of KO emblems ( (IN STOCK) KO Autobot/Decepticon Logo stickers Big or Snake-in Stickers from Toys & Hobbies on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group ) and they were RUBBISH. Avoid unless you want your symbols to be really glossy and cheap looking.

 

I absolutely love this figure and cannot wait for Striker Noir, and not just for that insane weapons pack.

 

Thoroughly lovely weekend. A boat trip, picnic, lots of banter, took some great photos of the family and her lot. Now smashing a bit of ME2 with a cutoff point of 10:30 from which point on it's a Combaticon lovefest.
