I was in the Entertainer this morning and the TR Voyagers are on sale at £20 and some change, but they still have piles of Combiner Wars Combaticons at £15.

So... The OH lost her keys 4 days ago. Been trying to find them but we think they were lost out and about in town. The result of which had been 3 new ultion locks on the house at a cost of 115 each. Next up is the car which will need new keys and a kick changing. This is going to hurt isn't it?

A day off work has lead to much slouching around drinking Pepsi Max Cherry, listening to Spandau Ballet (Gold!) and dusting off some old figures. This guy perpetually flirts with my to sell list but every time I go to list it I can't bring myself to do it. It's probably one of my favourite looking toys, even if I hate moving it and am constantly befuddled by how Brawl sometimes seems to end up slightly longer as a leg than Swindle.

Not even a fan of the WFC/FOC designs. It will be sold eventually I guess.

I love Takara's Unite Warriors Computron - it's my favourite Combiner Wars / Unite Warriors gestalt, and over-all the Technobots are perfect. The only figure that, for me, lets that set down is Afterburner. This is undoubtedly a case of my own personal attachment to the rust-coloured G1 toy. I am thrilled to have got hold of Hasbro's Combiner Wars Afterburner at the weekend, which, combined with UW Afterburner's guns, makes the perfect Afterburner for me. I also think the gestalt mode is now more balanced, and I am a big fan of the new hands and feet that come with CW Computron too!

So yesterday (yes, I worked this weekend... and the office was flooded too!) and today's deskbot is...

So, had very interesting day, I feel like Sherlock Holmes, except fatter, balding and with a beard.

And I've got the transformers soundtrack playing on Spotify. The cheesy 80's one, you know, the decent one.

    I'm awesome : lol

I can understand the Lust for Rust, and I do prefer CW Afterbreaker's G1 chest sticker paint detailing but myself I can't get behind the added grey/black or the green lightpiping. Aglow as UM Afterburner's orange is I am happy to stick.
Have you found a decent way to stow the fancy new feet & hands that doesn't look daft in vehicle mode(s)?
I was hoping they would help bulk up and differentiate Scattershot's jet mode more but the pics I saw on blacklai's blog just made him look daft and pretty much turned me on settling for the Hasbro set for cheaper in fact.

I rarely buy any of the Japanese stuff, but I couldn't pass up UW Computron. CW Nosecone just stressed me out too much.

So, Blackshadow...there's not much to him, is there? Maybe it's because Sixshot set the bar so high but I'm feeling distinctly underwhelmed. He scales fantastically with the other 'Phase Sixers', but the deluxe Black Shadow is just a much better toy. I'll definitely enjoy attaching him to Trypticon in base mode.
