I have a OS Neo Rex which doesn't seem bad quality but I only got him for Talon so no idea what I'll be doing with the other figures.

It's not all 3P. Contactshot was easy and fun to do. Downbeat not too bad. Today was Artifex. I got through all the easy stuff and then the bit of clipping the back together just didn't work! One side was ok but not the other. Watching Youtube you can almost see the reviewers hiding or moving on fast past the tricky areas.
After far too long of pushing and pulling I gave up! I'm only going to put it back into robot mode asap anyway.

After numerous QC problems with both Backdraft and Artifex I am going to have to weigh up my next Ocular Max purchase very carefully.

Power of the Primes being acronymed to POTP is too close (to me) to Top of the Pops TOTP.
Guess I'm going to be calling it Top of the Pops then of:rolleyes:  :lol

My dad is really into Mass Effect but I couldn't get into it! I was about Zelda and like the idea that you can start any dungeon you want or even to fight the boss from the start! Not what I would expect but interesting still!

Forgot to add this about Horizon, was playing it last night and was caught in what seemed like a civil war between two different types of machines! Both fighting each other with me caught in the middle of it! I dunno if that will happen in others but yeah that had me scared because I was running out of health! Will teach me to go exploring in the wild!

Did your one come with any problems at all? I was reading some came with two left feet or some madness!

Oh man, those Fansproject headmaster transformations are an absolute joy. The strongest set of 'wow' transformation moments outside of Hastak.

Hmmm, this sentiment has increased a lot among the fanbase. Given the choice I would probably steer toward a toy-led aesthetic as opposed to a toon one, but it feels like a lot of stuff is unfairly being written off for being 'bland' now. That's certainly not what I saw when I saw the new Huff pics. Am surprised by the negative reaction to it (although perhaps that's stupid of me, considering). I think he looks wonderful! Huff was good and definitely the best option out there, but he's far from the classic people seem to be holding him up as.

Yeah, agreed. Takara are still king of the transformations by quite some way but I think it's unfair to tar all 3P with the same brush. Although far too many shitty transformations ARE given an easy pass by the fanbase... Think a lot of the time the difference is between stuff that has actual transformable parts and stuff that's instead a panel shifting contest designed to hide the actual design of the components. If that makes any sense at all.

BotW is running great on our WiiU so far. Tough part is balancing between everyone getting enough time on their save file with 3 of us playing it.

I am reserved-excited for Mass Effect Andromeda. I LOVED ME 1-3 but that ending broke my heart in all bad ways. Feeling too burned to pre-order, but if reviews are good I'm in.

A large part of the free passes for poor transformations comes from the fact that a lot of 3P MP collectors don't transform their figures much, or at all. Not everyone, of course, but it's pretty common that many just want the bot mode shelf presence (look and possibility) to be nailed. That said, I once did a poll and most respondents DO requiremtheir 3P/MP figures transform, even if they themselves never (or rarely do so).

Good to hear, I think I may grab it as Zelda games are traditionally driver and navigator coop with the missus. Squeeze in some Zero Dawn before she gets home and coop Zelda after!

I'll be in for the Mass Effect and excited to roll a new character, bit bored of my guy from the first three.

Now I'm REALLY hoping we get the wave 4 deluxes on shelves. I really have a hankering for Percy and Kup. Krok too, now Misfire's confirmed.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that the remould of Brawn will be Crankcase, rather than Outback. Fingers crossed. And also hoping that Fulcrum will show up at some point in PotP (with a new alt mode, natch).

Forbidden Planet have had them in. When I was in the Bristol store on Friday morning, they still had at least a couple of each of the wave. £6.99 each though...

The Mass Effect trilogy is one of all my all time favourites. I find ME1 a bit tough to play now as mechanically it's pretty weak, so when I start again now I begin with ME2 and do the catch-up interactive comic thing. I was one of the few who wasn't aghast at the end of ME3. And boy, what a game that was.

And yeah, think you're right about collectors and transformations. I can't quite fathom buying a thing whose very purpose for being is to transform and then not transforming it myself, but to each their own. Every bot of mine gets transformed at least once, and I love going back to the ones I enjoy.
