I actually said "almost indistinguishable", and was referring to the quality of the toy itself, which I have opened and displayed/enjoyed, but have decided to sell.

I think Joe was saying that the toy itself is a really good KO, which it is. The only real difference from the official (aside from the box branding) is the chest paint app is a little sloppier. In my experience, anyway. It's definitely a fair claim for Joe to make.

In my head, I picture you driving a yellow three wheeled van. Please never shatter this illusion, Joe ;)

You forget the copyright info... but yes, I agree with Joe, it is almost a:1:1 copy.

Thanks Ben. Correct indeed, I think the chest paint is OK on mine but it's not quite 100%. But joints, transformation, plastic, etc - all good.

SHATTERED: I drive an old 1.0 litre black Toyota Yaris which currently has a hole in the exhaust and a dent in the side, and is spattered with mud.

It's the worlds most stupid release mechanism.

    What you do is;

-Make sure you can hear the telltale rattle. If there is no rattle, it means the ball earing is lodged towards the back of the bike and prevents the mechanism from firing.

-If the rattle is there, it means the ball bearing is loose, DON'T angle the bike backwards, ie to do a wheelie. If you do, the bearing will roll to the back and stop the mechanism from firing.

Now, press the back of the bike down (the wheel upward) and carefully roll it backward, ie, the bike is in reverse. The actual release switch is a roller switch which is activated by the rear wheel. The middle wheel will shoot forward and knock the front wheel out.

It's easier to do doing it all by hand (ie, not using the floor to roll the wheel) and when it works, it's not a bad gimmick... except most of the time it doesn't work. IT doesn't help that there are no instuctions for this thing.

They should have just kept it simple, press the back of the bike down and pow! Firing wheel. But alas, presumably child safety laws prevented such a simple mechanism.

Buy? Surely you find yellow 3-wheelers in a dyke easily enough somewhere.

LOVE: The look of the DX9 Blitzwing. Am a big fan of DX9 so I'm so down with that.

DON'T LOVE: Not knowing whether it's MP Ironhide or MP Ratchet that has misassembled shoulders.

From what I can see it's Ironhide. All the proto shots have them the same way as Ratchet from what I can see.

It's purely cosmetic though, there is no real benefit to swapping over apart from it looks cleaner.

mhhh. keeping up to date with game of thrones doesn't imply paying. After all if TV is the new opium of the peoples i don't see why I should pay em... sorry thats the me of old speaking.

another reason not to pay TV is governments keep asking tax payer money for something that is more useful to them than us, government tvs are a tragedy and the way Left and Right wing in Italy have been playing around with RAI is proof to it. In fact my new motto has been for a while, 'not with my signature..' Moreover, the way wikileaks was dealt with says it all, prosecute a guy for doing his job because the guys doing theirs where hiding things which were never constitutionally agreed that they should be withheld from public opinion.... there I go again... I sound like an old troskist ranting about the system...

    moving on

how was the episode? no spoilers pls think we'll watch it this friday.

it's that difficult balance between not wanting to give Rupert Murdoch any money but wanting the people involved in the show to be paid their dues.
