I always remember Starscream saying "Shockwave has much to be humble about!" in the cartoon.
He was Transformers version of Mordred from Visionaries.

Much as I like the Marvel Comics, it was the UK-specific stories I dug, which is why pride of place on my shelves goes to Magnus, Galvie, Dinobots et al.

I'm happy with TT "bootlick" Shockers, as, Time wars denouement aside, Shockers never really did anything memorable for me in the UK comics.

Can deffo see the appeal of the 3P ones for fans of the US Marvel though. Guy needs to be able to look like he could tonk Megatron, cut Sunstreaker in half, confine Josie Beller to a life of porn poses and produce iconic "the transformers are all dead" grafitti.

Can't see me getting Primal either V, never watched the show and not sold on the design. Tempted give Quakeblast a go though, I'll be getting Wusswave but I'm not sure he'll end up on my shelf.

I'm definitely 'Trukk not Munky' when it comes to Beastly Wars. There's something about those "Arms and legs of robot become arms and legs in beast mode" transformations that don't gel with me.
QB is good value for money, for a chunky 3P product. I've sure paid more for less, see Hulkie for details.
    Ha ha! LOL@"Wusswave"
    :lol

That mean it gets the thumbs up?

I thought about getting Munky but after owning Saber for a very short amount of time I need to learn to stick to what I know/like.

    That's a bit worrying...the loose joints I mean.

Ever notice how lately some figure joints seem to become looser even when you do nothing to them?

My FT Soar has been -suspended- on his stand, but his ankles have grown looser. I've read of somebody's Soar taking a dive as his ankles loosened just by standing.

Same thing is happening to some of my MP figures.

We're not really playing with them, so how's that happening?

It was my Soar that took a tumble last week, luckily nothing broke. As for joints going loose for no reason I have no idea why it happens, my Sphynx was never that tight to begin with.

Reckon MP Primal is a pass for me, too. Have never been excited about the idea of bots transforming into animals. Saying that, MP Star Saber was going to be a pass for me and not only did I get him, he became one of my favourite MPs.

(Can't see that happening with Primal, though - I just think the whole thing looks a bit daft.)

That's just physical. Every assembly, especially screwed connections with different materials will loosen through time, in particular as the different materials have their own thermal expansion or as an assembly won't work in the main way it was designed for (don't underestimate the effect of gravity when you display your figures). So sometimes there's no need to play with them, some will just loosen up. Our bots live in some kind of way :)

ha, ha! Great stuff. My reaction :lolol . My wife's reaction :rolleyes2

that's pretty cool actually. I still try my luck with £6.66 shockwave though.

I absolutely love beast wars, but I do agree that that kind of transformation scheme is boring.

that is a good point, the only ones I don't like are the beast machines designs. So ugly...
