I'm so glad Ironhide has turned out great. I really hope mine comes today because I'm ill and feeling grumpy. Clearly toys are the best medicine for a 34 year old :D

Hot Rod and Dia Battles are my final AE purchases too for the foreseeable. Not seeing the savings like I used to.

I received a gift from a friend in Japan - Unite Warriors Devastar. I haven't been face to face with any of the variations of this figure before and it's... big. Probably too big for me to keep sadly. Nice though.

Also, I stumbled across a tin of Lego Star Wars stuff so started to set up scenes from the films. I may also have bought some of the newer Lego Star Wars packs to get some First Order troopers as well. Naughty me :)

Nicely done, Kapow. Am hoping Ironhide will be waiting for me at the office on Monday.

He certainly is. Really like the transformation, there's a couple of tight bits here and there but overall it's pretty simple.

I'm about to try it out. Beautiful alt mode, although annoyingly mine has a scuffed-up front bumper out of the box (I suppose it is Ironhide, though...).

Oh dear I did the same and split my order. As far as I'm concerned this is an incorrect order, just as bad as sending the wrong parts. If this happens to me I will let them be sent back and request a refund and opt for the KO PE instead. The wait has been long enough as it is without adding another factor to sour the purchase.

Indeed! Annoyingly scuffed-up bumper aside, he's glorious. Probably the best MP transformation to date - it's fun but ingenious, with panels fitting together really satisfyingly. The way the panels of the van fold away into the legs is incredibly clever.

While I have to admit he does look good plus the dimple on his head is not that bad as I thought .is he a lot better in hand ?

I may have to pass on ironhide and maybe pick up ratchet ,still wished he had a comic red helmet (or red crest ,am I right Scuba :p ).

Adding to the comic talk ,just got the UK marvel reprints volumes 1 and 2 through the letterbox .enjoying them so far ,only up to "wrath of the guardian" tho .

    He really is glorious!

Yeah, in hand it's like he just stepped out of the cartoon, and the head sculpt is spot-on.

I may have to pass on ironhide and maybe pick up ratchet ,still wished he had a comic red helmet (or red crest ,am I right Scuba :p ).

I wish they were doing a red-helmeted Ratchet, too. This is what I want:

Yeh ,that would be cool and with me re-reading the marvel run while I read the new (to me ) UK material. It further cements the need for that ratchet

Some nice pics there Amb. It really is much better in hand than pics have led me to beleive, there is a lot of clever stuff going on in that transformation, and as good as he looks I think the mould works better as Ratchet.
