On the subject of DOTM, is there any point pre-ordering them when they'll still be all over the show at this time next year?

Saying that, as soon as TRU have them, I'll buy those I like the look of.

Might be worth pre-ordering the ones you really, really want. I mean, the ones stuck all over the show here in Wiltshire are the ones nobody particularly wanted, like Mixmaster, whilst Voyager Ironhide disappeared faster than a bed once a hammer has been taken to it.

First night of sleeping on the sofa. OH GOD, MY EVERYTHING HURTS.

    Love it ;)

I think that the only one I want is Deluxe Starscream so far, only because I don't have a Starscream from any line which isn't either a Legend or Robot Hero.

I may go after the Wreckers, too, but I went crazy when ROTF came out so I'm going to try and exercise some self restraint this time (I know I'll fail, though). You're right about Ironhide - I had to pay an arm and a leg for the one I have, whilst Ratchet, Megatron and Mixmaster were all £13.

Have you ever been to the toy shop in Trowbridge? They had nothing decent in there last time I checked , but they sometimes get TF stuff in before anyone else. One of the first places I saw generations. Perhaps its because they're an independent toy shop?

I even found a pair of dusty old Robot Heroes Predaking sets, which went down pretty well with a couple of our stateside chums!

    FOLKS, let's chat generations.

I've just realised that there's at least three figures I want from the bbts Warpath case- Wheeljack, Warpath and Scourge. Maybe Kup, but I'm happy to let that one go.

Is anyone (several peeps maybe?) interested in going in on a case together and splitting the spoils? Would save us all a mass of effort and trouble.
I'm happy to sort out the case and divvy it out if we can make up the numbers.

So, if we can find peeps for the following::

    1x Warpath
    1x Wheeljack
    2x Thundercracker
    1x Kup

First come first served I think is fair, but let's sort this out! BBTS' guess is $50 USD for shipping, making the case shipped to the UK cost £94- that's £11.75 per figure. Shipping to individuals would depend on whether you want it loose or MISB, but I imagine no more than £3.
Really need to allocate every figure if we're to do this. I'm keen though!

EDIT:: Maybe PM me about it, keep the toy discussion thread clean cos I'm not sure how related this really is.

I'd like Wheeljack, but I'm concerned about the inevitable customs sting.

Well so far there'd be four of us ordering it, likely two more. So that's six people to split a customs sting between.
How much you reckon it'd be? I'm not up to scratch on customs charges.

Not to mention that I haven't ordered out of the country in a few years, always from Uk-based stores. I doubt I'm on a customs blacklist so it's not 100% likely we will get stung.

Maybe £40, could be more, could be less. Or we could be lucky. I wouldnt need packaging either.

We can't know til we try!

I'll jot you down on Wheeljack for now if you like. Shipping the lad loose would probably only be a quid or so anyhow :)

    That a boy! :D

Not to mention, there was some very useful stuff posted in this very thread earlier about customs charges and handling fees. And the fact that carriers aren't allowed to hold parcels until you pay handling fees.
So even if we do get stung, it might not be as bad as we think.

Right then folks! Just Thundercracker needs some loving now, any takers?

EDIT:: A quick scan of HMR and teh intrawebs tells me that a package of toys costing £94 shipped would incur only VAT tax, at 20% costing £18.80. So that's still just £112.8. Divide by 8, £14.10 per figure. This was done with the cost of shipping included, which apparently isn't usually done so. So this seems like to be the absolute maximum (I think) should we actually get stung.

Eh, I'm not to bothered about paying upto around £20, I've been bloody buying a few guys like Blurr for around that amount anyways from eBay, it's just the peace of mind that comes with knowing I'm getting the guy that I'm happy with :)

To anyone on the fence over TC, he looks incredible.

Nothing I can do to help you I'm afraid garibaldi, I do recommend setting up a wants thread to get maximum response.

iamste--Indeed, the peace of mind knowing the figures that would otherwise be nigh impossible to get hold of at this point are essentially ours is great. Anything under £15 is just icing on the cake, since I would've happily paid that much each from kapow or the like.

Of course, the cheaper they are the happier we'll all be ;)

Okay folks, just one Thundercracker needs a home now! Once that's done I'll PM everyone on my list for addresses and the like so we can sort this out all proper like :D

He'll respond, it just takes him ages. Like, proper ages. Don't worry about it :)
