I know how you feel. I seem to buy figures in batches - either to save on postage or to make sure I dont miss the wave in stores - but then I only ever open them one at a time, putting the rest in my stash. This has become considerable right now, taking up two large black bin bags along with around a dozen under the bed. I have no idea on exactly what is in there - which is half the joy - but I do know that it includes the Universe Roadbuster/Dirge pack, United Soundwave and Cliffjumper, HA Jazz and Barricade and Mudflap, Hasbro MP Grimlock, G1 reissue Smokescreen and white Astrotrain, Legends Hot Rod, dvd exclusive Japanese Red Exillion, BotCon Sea Sharkticon and Skybite, SDCC Soundwave, reissue Insecticon set.... ummm.... cuddly toy, probably..... Binaltech Silver Meister, RotF Thrust, Movie Mudflap (the Voyager crane guy)..... All sealed in their boxes and minty. Its both depressing and awesome at the same time!

 

Yeah I remember everyone saying how much they hated him - and yeah the arms are wierd... but i really like the transformation and with Prime and Jazz he looks pretty good!! I like it anyway - and since it was free and I don't own an ironhide I'm not gonna complain!!

Maybe not the best toy ever - but fun nonetheless I reckon.

Finally got to open RTS Prime and Wreck-gar as its me bday and have to say even though ive seen a few posts bagging Prime i actually like him, only bad point is the hands just not enough movement for my liking but a top figure.

 

I like DOTM Ironhide's legs once I realised I'd transformed his feet backwards

I concur. Blimey, I'd quite like a Ratchet (either would be good), but I don't want it that much...  

 

Ha ha! I was just about to post that here. What kills me is that an earlier auction for a loose Ratchet ended at £34. That means that the box is worth a hundred pounds more than the toy itself! Sometimes I wonder about the sanity of the fandom. -_-

 

I'm very pleased with the new pics of Sentinel Prime. Not because he's a good toy, but because the comparison shots reveal that Leader Ironhide is actually in scale with ROTF Prime. In both modes. I think I may have to change my underwear now.

There's a rumour floating around TFW that he won't get a MP release... in which case I guess I'll have to paint up his robot parts. The blue isn't so bad, but his arms and legs not matching... bah.

 

What the... did the winner think he was paying in Yen or something?!

 

it took me 18 months to get hold of a ratchet, it's weird that it seems longer. thing was i got it for under 30 quid from america. to see that auction just boggles the mind. who ever brought it has got to be keeping it mint on card sealed, has too much money to burn or certifiably insane

Holy Shit Balls!! paid £30 for mine in a job lot of 5 other henkei that I wanted more, Ratchet was kind of a after thought as I have the Hasbro version.

 

Ah, if only I could go back in time to Auto Assembly 2009 and buy up all the Henkei Ratchets that were practically table warming even at £15 each...

 

I wish I, um, had one!
