Chromia turns into a van thingy :p

    +2 flying shovel FTW!!!

They look perfect together (not in a romantic way). Exactly the right scale for me.
    Thanks for the pic.

Can't wait to get Arkose so I can do a Warpath & Beachcomber Vs Brawl & Swindle.

    Cosmos next please.
    (Preferably BadCube)

In the Bond film Moonraker, when the boat Bond is driving is heading for a waterfall it deploys wings yes? I was hugely disappointed when the boat itself didn't fly and it was just a hang glider.

I covet those Iron Factory Arsenals, I'd be tempted to pick up a Brawn if they did him (even settle for a cybertronian alt mode version, as long as he came with a set of those guns).

Also THIS is the arrogant bar steward I was looking for:

    [IMG] [IMG]

Chest better all round. Seriously, Hasbro, if you can't stretch the budget to this small a remould, then give Breakdown a canopy chest, eh?

    Still transforms too.

Getting the pin out was less heart palpitating than expected too, fortunately. Now roll on the reprolabels!

(Though if a 3P were to put out a polished, factory quality version of this, with or without an optional faux gun-hand/'toon rifle, I would totally jump on it for a closer matching yellow and crisp, professional paint job.)

I really just wnat a fixed version of the hips so they sit on the same level in robot mode, yes, I know that it's so you can have sideways articulated arm but it's the only toy so far to have that and it makes robot mode look awkward.

Not so much mis heard, but I've come up with alternative lyrics which I now can't forget. For example Michael Jackson Billie Jean now has "she says I was the one who could dance on the floor with an owl", and Luther van dross never too much will always be number two bus.

    +4 flying shovel FTW

    Funny you should say that...

By which I mean, I made one and had the prototype at AA :)

It might be a bit of QC luck on my part but the hips on my Streaker are a nice stiffness and definite step up from ol' wigglehips Breakdown.
I'll forgive Anime Shin Syndrome for that headsculpt, which gives me a similar bit of an 'ancient egyptian'-ish vibe as G1 (& CW) Mirage.

    EDIT:
I recently followed yourself and Nonnef on Twitter (since becoming a bit of a Shapeways convert) I think I may have seen a pic of it you posted? Is your design more G1-influenced than this here SteamShield design that mimics the CW car mode windscreen?

That's the one! It'll be cast in two parts, with black plastic and yellow matched to the CW toy.

Also, I'm fixing the hips because a gang of angry fangirls threatened to beat me if I didn't.

If you take the gender statistics of that recent Hasbro UK survey seriously, then it is entirely believable that you would be inundated by TF fangirls...

    I should be so lucky!

The proto looked very tidy indeed but I must admit I prefer the 'modernised' style of Steamshield's design (possibly until I see your finished version). May I ask, when you say it will be in cast yellow and black plastic does that mean the windscreen and window details will be black parts (as opposed to being painted metallic blue like the car modes)?

Flying Power Shovels - i was that one kid who didn't really like the Dinobots much, and couldn't stand Jazz.

    So don't mind me.

    No word.

    The apparent abundance of Sunstorm.
Lack of Silverstreak. New Star Wars movie.

    Odds poor.

That's the current plan, given his overall aesthetic. Would that be a dealbreaker for you? Not taking the piss, serious market research here. :)  I could, in theory, redesign it to be cast in 2 plastics, or see that the windscreen parts get painted.

TBH, part of why I went for the very boxy, angular look was to make it look less like the retooled Wheeljack chest, too.

I feel like I should point out (especially in case my better half reads this thread) that they were my friends from twitter!

I actually was very surprised at just how many girls and women we had at the stall at AA buying Transformers toys, certainly early on Saturday the number was comparable to the guys.

    All the best

Those Reflectors... appeal. But do them in toy colours.
