    Hehehe

I propose a treasure hunt dear sir, we can dine on Lambda shuttles and Han Solo's on Tauntaun!!

By the way you going to Empire Strikes back secret cinema?

    AWESOME!!

Getting Utopia was a real internal struggle for me, i wanted him from the first reveal!! I thought he'd be no more than 200 filofaxes, which I felt I could manage...............then the price was announced, near 300 scotch eggs.............I declared myself officially out of the running. But every new picture teased me..........buy me steve, buy me..........NO!! I will not, but the teasing continued!! In the end the way I justified Utopia was by making a deal with myself. I had to sell other TFs to get him from my collection, the deal stipulated that I wasn't allowed to spend a single penny on him that wasn't earned by selling already owned figures.
Within a couple of weeks I had sold enough to get him, so I went to order him..................drat someone on facebook is selling Ehobby BT-18 Riije(one of my grails)..........looks like Topes will have to wait!!!
So I had to shift a couple more bots and then finally Topes was mine(alongside the devine Ehobby Riije).........one of the best purchases I ever made, this guy oozes quality!! He's the Plex I always wanted.........and then some!!

TL;DR Utopia is pricey, but worth it.

The Takara version has a lot more orange, and a lot less yellow.

Continuing on with my MP shuffle. Greenscream gone and big bad bots moved in.
I've just finished squeezing in all the mini cons. I can probably squeeze in a Megatron and nothing else! Pics to come soon.

Yeah that version doesn't look that different to me I just wish there was a version that was mainly black and orange.

Good news on my CW Quickshot from Amazon.com via their 'hidden' link. He has shipped and is on his way.

Really chuffed to have found him. Just Air Raid left to track down now!

Might be a while before I see any new robots too, I did watch Ex Machina though, that has robots in it. Good film too.

Takara Leader Ultra Magnus is up on AE now, works out about £28ish.

I was tempted, but I want Ambus so will hang on for the Hasbro version

Well he wasn't flippin' shipping to the UK when he was visible on Amazon when I tried, so I've just taken a punt on the cheeky link myself. Cheers!
    Fings crossed!

Dang! Tempting...but there's another potential TF rabbit hole I may fall down that will zap the funds if it comes through. I'll have to wait & see if he's sold out by Friday

Extremely tempting although I shall resist.
    He does look lovely though.

    Well played, Sir.

It was rude not to chance it.

Well said, Maz. That's pretty much what I want to say about this figure. I really wish the chest and the hip could be a little bit narrower, though I understand they are the compromise on the transformation. If they make more folding to the chest, more deeper space to reduce the hip width, the transformation will be even more complicate and fragile... not like cars or planes, Megtraon won't have some big pieces/shells to cover the body.

If you compare Apollyon with MP10 Prime, you will notice the height of shoulder, waist and the length of legs are very matched. But Apollyon doesn't feel as 'tall' as Prime just because of his wider chest and hip. The best display angle of Apollyon is definitely not directly in front. Currently all of the great shots from the reviewers use 'angles'. (I also never put my Prime's arms down in my display unit, otherwise he will look like an Ape)

I will try to transform him later when I have time.

In general, I really like Apollyon, he is a truly masterpiece in my collection, but I don't take him as one of my "Takara Masterpieces", neither is Quakewave or any other 3P MP scaled products so far.

Edit: Zaltron is this thread is a collector, not a seller

Nah, I'm willing to settle for the Hasbro deco + reprolabels, especially if the gamble pays off and I land a TF I never thought I'd get in the first place.

I emailed Hasbro about the UK releases of Waves 2 and 3 of Combiner Wars. I got this back as a reply.

For some reason that makes me feel a bit better. I've been looking at my 'Most of Superion Plus Dragstrip' for months and wondering if I'll ever get to complete any of the Hasbro Combiner teams.
