Perhaps they're planning to infiltrate the Care Bears...

Yes, me. I stumbled on that thread a while ago, and it looks so good. I have not checked, do we have a release date and/or price on him? Looks really dynamic.

Not a lot to add here that has not already been said. But, I will say that while you should run Kapow any way you like, I really do appreciate the communication! Knowing this far in advance gives us all a chance to work out what we really want and where we can get it for, and not get caught on the hop. You didnt need to do that, but it is appreciated.

I wonder if a couple of polite comments in threads here would emphasise a point? Maybe I will pop into the FT Scoria thread and ask why the UK shipment is split if they can organise US shipments just fine? It seems time for the customers to start taking an interest in more than just the 3P products, but supply and other factors too.

With Takara/Hasbro pulling up their game, I am sure that Kapow will get on just fine.

Yeah it's a real shame. I won't deny I'm a bit disappointed as my order's with Masterforce and looks like I'll be waiting several more weeks to get hold of him but I don't blame Kapow or Masterforce at all. It sounds like 3P's are taking retailers for granted some what.

Massively agree with the steps Andy has taken. It's time for some of these companies to realise that retailers can't afford to blindly support them.

Sad that I won't get scoria straight away, but i know I'll get one in time. I've waited bloody long enough. Now if it was Soar I'd be tearing my hair out.

Nice to know that MMC and PE are good guys as their product has blown me away this year.

Now to continue my search for the Animated figures I need whilst Maz outdoes me from his sickbed.

However my health has returned! Yay! Which means I've had to go back to work rather than mope around the house playing with toys. Boo! :(

Now if they did the outside as pretender bumblebee's shell with robot bee after transformation I'd be more interested.

The card at Botcon said Q1 2015 for the MMC Seraph prominion, so any time after that up to and including the year 3000.

I think a problem that FT has is they are basically a 2 man operation AFAIK but their figures get the same level of interest as the bigger companies so it's hard for them to keep up.

I support kapow's decision, you do what you have to do if the margins are too tight and the risks to great and the only thing you get in return is hassle it's the only neat thing to do.

The problem is that they need to sell around 5,000 units to break even. So when BBTS order 4,000 and Chmungmung or RK order another 2,000 or whatever, then the other bigger companies like TFSource and other large Asian outlets place their orders, the company is in profit already. They then don't give a flying fuck about anyone else.

End of the week ours will arrive so you won't be waiting long!

Email me dude because I can either have it in the post to you this week or bring it up to the possible-Pubecon the week after next.

We have the same issue now :(  though we had just been told last week we would have all of our items in one batch.

The demands of Scoria is much larger than usual 3P's one run production (3000~4000 untis). FT boss wants to control the product flow. FMO, that's correct decision from the business perspective.

In addition, if you have a client ordered 3000 untis from you, and another ordered 300, which one will you take as a higher priority?

That's all understandable, BUT... they leave the difficulties to us to deal with our customers.

Comments in the various 3P threads: why bother?

I've brought up the lawless state of the 3P market loads of times, usually to disinterest or outright hostility. There are a few bods on this board that do seem to care about what Robot Kingdom/BBTS hegemony of the 3P market means but truthfully most don't give a toss.

Look at the Warbo saga: you had actual fan-fave Retailers from this board telling people they had been shafted and the response was heavily weighted in favour of " I don't care, I got my toy" or more mildly "I don't like politics it's just a Robot"

The usual D-bags have commented in the Kapow specific thread that the Sky isn't falling and it's not a bubble on the verge of popping so......all's right with the world. Play on.

Andy - as long as you get on that Cloudy Rodimus whatever you do is ok by me.

    Enlightened entitlement wins.

Get a shift on Scoria......I gots things to do.

Someone in the Scoria thread said they had spoken to Kapow and even though the emails went out yesterday he wasn't being sent till today?

One more day isn't the end of the world :D

One day is nothing, usually its the other way round :lol . Some places are still waiting for their shipment though, they need to get their act together. And that Armarauder thing looks interesting that kapow has put up on fb.
