It's just me being overly picky, I guess. I hate his feet. I knew I would, but was hoping once I had him the rest would make me forget it-- no dice though, unfortunately.

In other news though, I'm totally addicted to eBay! Selling that Ironhide and a couple of things in a bulk lot, so exciting. £8.50 so far on Ironhide and £10 on the bulklot what about 25 watchers on each.

Can't his feet be positioned/folded somehow to give him a better look?

& that's a lot of watchers! Should equal a nice price in the end :p

I know, it's absolutely craptacular in their toy section now! :lol

@Cash- awesome, as always thankyou for the assistance man. Truly indispensable!

@GL- thanks man! :D  I'ma do the shoulder launcher tonight and upload it on its own and with Mirage's rifle to reduce overall cost.

@iamste- yeah it's very much a case of 'what could have been' with Tomahawk. I still love him on his own merits, but had he been classics styled through and through they'd have been onto a winner.

And darn, I wanted to be nosey :lol

Well if the worst comes to the worst, I've got a spare hotrod missile and an airbrush...

    ARGOS 25% off sale :

Results for GREAT DEALS ON TRANSFORMERS in Toys and games - Argos.co.uk

    Voyager £17.24
    Cyberverse Action £11.24
    Deluxe £9.74
    Cyberverse commander £6.74
    Legion £3.74
    Ultimate Optimus £59.99
    Leaders £33.74
    Ark Playset £27.74

Plus one or two other Roleplay and vehicle items.
The larger stealth Force Bumblebee has not been reduced though.

    If anyone is so inclined to get some views please keep a looksie out for ;

    Cyberverse Action Megatron & Optimus
    Leader Ironhide
Cyberverse Commander Guzzle & Dark Sentinel Prime
    Legions Wave 3 / 4 ; Crowbar,Mudflap,Leadfoot,Starscream,Stealth Bumblebee,& Flak.

I don't expect to see any new Deluxe yet thought...other that what's already been out for some weeks like Thundercracker,Mudflap,Nitro Bumblebee & Laserbeak.

But if anyone sees the Red Ratchet or the Cyberfire Bumblebee please give a shout.

I don't really want to waste my time in that store if they are not stocking anything new.... If they had a voucher offer I might have even used it on Optimus but to be honest I can't really see me getting £60.00 of fun out of him. and I'd only buy Ironhide if he had an English voice or was on super clearance due to his large number of QC issues.

Would have been nice to have been able to get a HA Roadbuster and I'm frankly disgusted that they've not reduced the HA basics as well.

    ----------

P.s Argos are so lame that want you try to e-mail them if you use an " symbol in your e-mail it spits it out and refuses to send it erasing what you have just types so watch out for that if you need to e-mail them.

I just did so to tell them I was not very impressed that HA Basics are not included in the sale.

Yes, I had this problem. Basically my card was declined once on a website (because my Barclaycard was stopped. In a nutshell, I paid off a few grands worth of debt in one hit, leaving around £40 on the card. Because I didn't use the card at all that month I didn't bother to do anthing about the outstanding £40, so the next month they threw a 'late payment' at me and stopped my card. I had such a massive go at the Barclaycard dude on the phone about this.) and now the card is blacklisted on that site for all time.

So it's probably not the banks fault your card is being declined, its probably HLJ's CC provider thats the obstacle here.

Honestly guys, I really wouldn't really moan about the bank trying to keep your money safe. My online banking got rinsed for £800 recently (A sneaky little virus had stowed aboard my computer), and they were on it straight away and refunded the money no questions asked. They made an attempt on my banking again, and my bank froze the account. I could have kissed them!

This happened to me once, and my bank were SOOOOOOOO awesome!!! It's the main reason I will never leave them, especially after hearing some real horror stories of some dudes whose banks just kinda went *shrugs* too bad, so sad.

TF related, I finished building my last bookcase yesterday (yeah I know it's been a long and drawn out (read: "lazy") process but now I have a week off work I finally get to really attack my collection room with gusto and sort out each set of shelves and organise my displays. Let's just hope there's enough room for all my little plastic buddies, even with seven bookcases to play with!

I'm not complaining about my credit card really, they do have a pretty good fraud prevention system, but it was their overeagerness to freeze my card after a 'late payment' over £40 when the month previous I cleared thousands pissed me off.

But now I just paypal those people now.

Also, why are people talking about 'banks'? Nobody should be doing monetary transactions over the internet with their bank details... too dangerous!

I'm talking aboutnthe bank because they provide my Debit card and it was their fraud team that was responsible for it being declined when HLJ tried to charge it

Bank's occasionally do stupid things. They decided not to pay either of my direct debits in May despite the money being in my account, and expected me to pay their non-payment charges!

I almost blew up the effing building. Definitely made someone cry.

Quick Q for you shapeways whizzes- should I worry about clearance when drawing up models? Should I draw 5mm pegs 0.5mm smaller than they should be so they're not tight in fist holes, for example?

When's everyone else's Unicrons arriving then? Mine should be here next Wednesday :D

I can't say for sure, but .5mm is a lot of clearance for such a small hole (~10%). Personally, i'd just taper the peg from top to bottom, that way you will always have a good fit regardless of wear etc.
