With the exception of Starscream, I think all three of those can be found for less than £14 on ebay. Possibly not all MOSC, but we're openers, right!?

Still, odd to see them still at retail after a couple of years.

I'd be tempted by a Hound, but I'm not really into classics anymore. I sold most of mine, and only my absolute faves remain. If there are any left after your kind bout of goodwill t'ward fellow fans (which I doubt there will be!), I say scalp the shit out of them and put them on ebay!

In a quirk of fate, im off to skeggy at the weekend- where are you seeing these? i quite fancy a universe starscream as ive got the classics version...he just doesnt fit in as well with the other seekers and there striping.

On a tangent, i was in asda west bridgford yesterday and i saw some of the marvel universe figures on clearance. Normally i dont bother with them, but they had a cable figure with the kid from second coming! With "X" pouch and all.

So amazing i had to buy it.

 

There's a place in Ingoldmells market called Scotts Toy Box, near where all the rides are. They do them, I got a Hound and a Starscream when I was there in June. Nice chap who owns it too

What's people's opinions as to the best movieverse sideswipe?

I've not really been bothered about movie stuff, but I picked up the sidearms version recently. It's alright, but I'm not that keen on the red at the front, and I think I might want one with blades. Thoughts?

 

Yep thats the store and I'll have the windcharger mate - pm me! mark_h bought a starscream just gonna pick that up and two hounds. They also had drift and some thrusts. Nice to see some decent stuff on shelves  

 

...and on that note, i know have a 'grey' classics starscream to offload....

 

I personally think the paintjob on the RotF one is real nice. The DotM one is just too...unpainted. I've a loose one going if I can interest you!

 

grrrrrrrrrr ive just gone on kapow, figured id finally buy the cliffjumper head beezleboss thing...and its not there anymore. Doh!

 

My fave is the HA version, but I love - but don't own - the look of the Shadow Blade HA version.

 

I think the ROTF Sideswipe mold is pretty cool, but the Scanning DOTM paintjob looks absolutely wicked.

If you can I'd recommend finding one of those, thy're in TRU's all over at the moment.

 

If you want a deluxe Sideswipe, pick up the TRU scanning version. It just looks very cool (aside from the blue parts) and works in both alt and bot mode. You do need to be a but careful, though, as the silver is painted over clear, shiny plastic, and can scratch.

The HA versions are excellent if want a larger one. Probably my favourite bladed Sideswipe - although I really rate Sidearm too. Car mode just looks so much better but I cant put my finger on exactly why!

 

I'd forgotten about the scanning one, but I prefer the Ironhide one myself.

 

I use a similar one, and it is indeed the proverbial Dogs Bollocks, press, bang, pair of pliers, pin out. You may need to file the head down to a sharper point though

If anyone could hook me up with a Space Case i would be truely grateful, I did find a Hatchet in one of the Tescos I checked if anyone is looking, looked pretty nice but at £8 I'm left unsure, I'd rather have Space Case  

Still, got Sol's Cindersaur in the post earlier and man, those colours are like a trip   got some 'Ardcoat on the dino mouth at the mo to see if that'll help with the looseness of it as well as on a couple bits of Rotorstorm I felt could do with it.

I'll pass on the Hound at the moment I think unless there ends up one going spare, it'd be better for someone who doesn't have the figure getting a shot before i get one to mutilate   (I have the Henkei one personally and he is brilliant)
