True on both counts, but I guess you could go "Hot Rod Engine" style and have them sticking out of his chest cavity for added powah type stuff.

I like to think Gerry misheard 'Short Strand in East Belfast' and wound up at The Strand Cinema in the same area... "I wouldn't normally say this, but it was a bomb."

Nah, worst are those that go to gigs and don't even try to know a single song.

Had that when I went to see Muse at Wembley back in 2007, I was two people from the front (technically 3 back because fo the massive backpack the guy at the back of the couple was wearing, after Knights of Cydonia and Hysteria and they didn't move at all or even mouth any words I took exception and decided that I was going to jump and dance into them at every opportunity. Golden circle and not even trying to enjoy themselves, fuck hipsters who go only to say they were there rather than actually enjoy themselves. At least sing along.

Best instant karma at a gig I witnessed was at The Killers at Doncaster a coupel years back, couple of really tall bastards pushing as far as they could to basically block everybody's view despite everyone near the front having got in as soon as they could to be able to see. One short firecracker of a lass gave them such a berating they buggered back where they came from, love to see it.

Speaking of, I've ordered the Autobot multipack and Powerlinx Hotshot from Pulse using that code for money off, fingers crossed for decent QC on them, looking forward to having a white Wheeljack and a Jazz not succumbing to yellowing

I've done it twice ever - first time a bunch of us went to see something, I forget what, and it was sold out so rather than just go and do something else the others decided we should see something else and the only thing that was on soon was Philadelphia. Every single one of us came out crying.

Second time was when Mrs O and I were first seeing each other and we wanted to get out of the rain for a while. The least objectionable thing on was Daybreakers, the wampire sci-fi flick, so we saw that.

I do find it very weird though.

That's one of several reasons I categorically refuse to go to any gig larger than a theatre. The bigger the gig the more likely it is that people are only there because they either got dragged along or they went because 'it's a gig, innit?' and they WILL get bored. :S

I am glad I resisted the charms of LU Sandstorm.
Finally made room for this masterpiece

    Monday.

Yolopark Megatron and Robot Toys Primal still incoming and the Dr Wu Galvatron/Grand Galvatron set has been posted as well!

I'm also thinking about getting some more trainers as the boots I got are OK now my feet are used to them but I'm not able to go as fast when wearing them so I could keep them for when I venture further afield and am doing longer walks over rougher terrain.

I think he was, at least the little legion version, he seems to have 3 different kinds of packaging in: universe, cyberverse prime and DoTM, whether or not that was a mass release I'm not sure

    Hoy,

“Large sea-faring vehicles, angry temperaments in a 200 foot robotic form, a Jedi needs not these things”....

Enjoy your ‘Waves’, I will stick with the old one, not a character I need more of.

I decided yesterday that, amongst chores, it was the right of a small amount of sentient beings, well, just me, that I should take about 3 hours re-painting a KO Lego Space marine into my homebrew chapter colours, pretty pleased with it, being honest.

    IMG_20240519_140143_2.jpg

    In other news....

I am on 3D print guy Version 3, 1 has gone quiet, number 2 didn’t return my opening text (which Version 3 has), we shall see....

At this point I should clear most of the TFs and do it myself, but then I wouldn’t have anything to print bits for, would I???

The boot was fun but not much bought, this little baddy fella RPM

    IMG_20240520_142505_8.jpg

“No time for love, Mr Megs”

    “F***ing kids”!

..and a TF book, ‘The Complete Works’,

Never was a title more ironic, especially as it ends on a cliff-hanger!

Thought it was new as it was in such good nick, but I think its 1986?

I use the mp ones for my classics. They size very nicely in robot mode imo.

I think it was just the deluxe one that didn’t make it out of the theme park? Movie verse not being my strong point…

@TheBritsonian is right about that packaging though….

I will get Legacy United Vector Prime, however, those shins are so distinctly Jhiaxus it’s almost off putting.

    Jhiaxus is great, as Jhiaxus.

    He lives!

    ***

Went to the 40th Anniversary screening yesterday with some hunks from these very forums; @Danforth @doucoo and @XaaronPrimus. It was also good to see some of us had in tow the next generation of fans.

Hunky company aside, particular highlights were:

The reading, and seeing the evident camaraderie between the voice actors.

The scene where Hound has Spike bent over a rock (makes me giggle like I’m back at school)

    Double Starscreams.

    Flying Autobots.

Said it myself, and as others have said: There are some lovely vestigial hinges left on his lower legs that are begging for something to clip on them that covers up the shins.

The Legends Hulkbuster video is available, apologies I've lost the link.

I don't think I'm even buying it for a third the price at GAME
