Lucky cat Micro Cosmo Riki-Oh Devastator in the house. Still making my mind up on these, but I love the designs, if not the engineering.

The mainline haul for the month!

FP have been very slow in getting the newer stuff in, which is annoying when I have to look at everyone else posting the stuff I really want weeks before I can get it :S.

Still waiting on SS Battletrap and Skyquake. I'd also like to say that whoever it was that cleared out ALL of the Legacy Evo Prowls, Shrapnels and all bar one Crashbar should fall in a well full of festering shite.
Seriously, three completely empty pegs, one Crashbar stuffed behind the voyagers on the next shelf down and an entire untouched peg of Crosscuts. What a shitty thing to do.

This a good bunch of lads, and lass, though - aside from Twincast's quite loose elbows, Dragon Megs' VERY loose tail and Freezer's even looser balljoints :S

Dragon Megs would be even better if the robot head/tail assembly pegged into the shoulders more securely, his tail wasn't so loose on my copy and that gold flap that fills in the bottom of the neck in dragon mode was better. As it is, though, I like both modes very much and I really appreciate the amount of molded detail he has. Needs more paint though.

I like Crosscut, even though, at this point, I'd rather he had NO accessories than the shitty ones the rest of his moldmates have, but I'll probably paint his tyres black. He wears the mold well and his colours are nice.

Crashbar is another winner from the mind of Mark Maher, and I'll absolutely be buying more when he gets restocked. You can't have too many Junkions!

Twincast is fine, aside from his aforementioned loose elbows and the crap tape, and I like him as much as I like Blaster.

Metalhawk is an absolute smasher and I very much enjoy transforming him.

SS Airrazor I LOVE. Both modes are smashing and her transformation is very nice.

SS Freezer is an incredible little goblin with a TON of character but the balljoints are SO loose on my copy he just won't hold poses terribly well. I'll have to get the Future on him this weekend. I haven't even transformed him yet as I just like looking at his wee Gremlin robit mode so much :D

Buzzworthy Origins Jazz is quite probably going to be my mainline toy of the year. He's perfect. I like his chest proportions A LOT More than SS86 Jazz's, both modes are absolutely solid and they both look flipping marvellous!!!

I don't know if any of you lot are going to the Manchester minicon tomorrow but if you are, keep an eye out for me in the bar in the afternoon. I don't have a ticket - or any bloody money now - but I'll show my face in hope I can catch up with some nice people.

There's a meetup of the Vworp Vworp Doctor Who zine folk across town later on tomorrow too so I'll probably nip over there later on too. :D

I could technically open mine now, but I might sleep first as I’ve heard they are a little fiddly and between working full time and many outside pressures this week I’m not exactly well rested even by my meagre standards….

But it’s 6 boxed presents in three boxes, so I think it’s a good birthday present at least…

    Have a Devastatoringly happy B-Day!

I think I'd be OK with a Japanese "premium" Double Clouder getting made at some point due to the slight deco difference the two have.
But for Soundwave or Stalker I think I'd like some remoulds, specifically a new beast mode, ideally a new face on each and maybe even some other changes would be good and Stalker or MW Soundwave would both find a place to got I think.

Stalker especially would fit right in with the G2 stuff. (even if he's only superficially G2 related by association)

I'd suggest a Dragon Wyvern maybe with a Hypogryh like head for one and a Bat for the other with new wings on both Ideallly but i'd not mind to much for them to have just a different kind of bird head, but Ideally Soundwave would suit being a Bat for the beast mode really.

The addition of the extra mode can even be explained in the context of an Evo-fusion gimic or the Legacy mutations themes, which to be fair can be used to explain G2 in general.

    ------------

I think because we had a couple of waves ship so close together again I think we might end up with some more sales as happened last time too. especially with the New Movies toys causing a log jam.

I do hold out some small hope for another chance at some cheap SS 86 Ironhides though it would be a real shame to be missing one like I am with Runabout.

    -------------

I am kinda keen to ask someone at Hasbro what the availability is on POTP moulds as if they want to do Bonkers G2 colours or Shattered Glass there is some Legends Class stuff that would be lovely to see repainted the Autobot and Decepticon Clones being prize examples I'd say.

But I really like the idea of a reverse colour Battletrap too.

That jet mode looks so cool! The colours are great, looks like something lovingly custom painted!
Love the completion of the collection! Let's hope FH give us more!
Can't wait to see them all together!
Agreed! MMC's Megs is is still the very best headsculpt of any toy to my eyes, just captures that character so well. Real same it's stopped, I'm still optimistic they'll announce a random exclusive suddenly.
    Stunner
    Happy birthday mate!

Anyone else going to the TFN-Mini Con in Manchester today?

I'm not sure what to expect, I've been to comic cons before, and the Star Wars one a few years back (For the Love of the Force at Bowlers exhibit centre) so eager to find how this compares.

Going on my own today so hoping it'll be chill for me. Got a few things I'll be looking out for but nothing particular on my radar I have to hunt for. Just gonna see what's what.

Missed out on tickets. Still tempted to bob over and get wankered in the hotel bar.

I just wish People didn't do Convention exclusive Bots. I think MMC have it right there where there is a exclusive Deco, and then a mass retail version.
FH limiting Bossman to 600 units world wide just makes me :(

My only thought on this is that they know they aren’t planning the rest of them, or if they do it will be a different colour scheme. They wouldn’t do a new mould for scorch…

Found these files on cult3d for free. It works.
    20230325_101624.jpg

Question is, which is my next custom? This guy, shatter, hatchet, dinoking, sentinel, chop shop, sg rodimus. So many choices.

First anniversary of loosing mum today. Still doesn't feel fully real or that long. Think today is gonna need a lot of distractions.

£3.50 including postage and I still feel ripped off. I hate this little shit. What was I thinking?

    A53E935D-9DF5-489E-825D-7278E6F7D17E.jpeg

To be fair the car's pretty good (not as nice as the Universe legends toy), the robot mode is the best he's ever looked, and the transformation is surprisingly involved. It's just that... it's Wheelie. If it was anyone else I'd really like it. Must divorce the toy from the rubbish cartoon, Hobart!

That it's still the best toy of the li'l prick, and the SS86 is a complete waste of "improved" engineering?

    :bday  Weekend, @Genodectes!!!

Condolences, @Insurgent, look after yourself, Bub.

Up late today because I ended up in a J-hole reading Hama's sadly now curtailed IDW ARAH continuation, I only popped over to try and find Sean Collins first appearance as 'Throwdown' (not great but still a better codename than "Kamakura"), and ended up getting sucked into Hama's classic comics melodrama & action.
FYI Comics Vine is wrong that he appears #155.5, or any issue thus far up to#177 but, Wow, Hama still has the chops to engage you, well, older fans at least - I suspect young 'uns might find his style rather hokey these post-comics decompression days but the man gives good action cheese, and clearly still writes by issue rather than aiming for trades, even down to the old school exposition dialogue that let's you know what's going on even if the current in media res issue is your first.
