    Huh... Whereas I cannot be fucked paying £4.99 for postage on Megs he may be worth grabbing in store.

    Also @Hobart Paving careful with IF Megs, shoulders. The left on mine recently broke through me daring to use it for its intended purpose. Fecking IF and their horrible tolerances.

    At this rate I think the ones that subsidise these are the retailers that actually bought them for full wholesale price early on.

    I think Morg has been on record here before saying the price offered for some of these [I think it was Legacy Leader Prime] was cheaper than what he bought his stock for on release.

    Even excluding the standard retail line altogether, the prices for some of these figures border on egregious. 90 odd quid for a G1 combiner and what was it, 89 odd for the poor Cobra Megatron?

    I think Hasbro need to update their business model and suggested prices in line with the current economic climate. This isn't March-August 2020 where suddenly folks didn't have to commute or had no way to eat out/go for drinks so the disposable income rose in line with boredom levels.

    At 25 quid yes that Megatron would have been a "hmmm let's see" curiosity purchase. At 89 it was never going to be a consideration.

    Cheers - I'd read that, checked for stress/cracks, and gave both shoulders a drop of shock oil when I was swapping the inner leg-plates round. I'll bear it in mind.

    Yep, me too.
    I might have to give up work, so it won't happen again.

    @Avon,
    Thanks man, it's gonna feel numb for a while but I'm trying to remember all the many good times I had with Rebecca and have been chuckling at some of her antics like the time she attempted to kidnap Core Class Seaspray and drag him off to her stash of socks behind the TV cabinet :D

    @Hobart Paving,
    Nice haul there!

    Wheeljack is one of my favourite carbots and I love IF's take on him and Exhaust. Warpath was one I resold due to never really getting on with it and I don't know why, it's nice enough, just one of those that never did it for me in hand.

    Diaclone Bluestreak's also great, I love having that colour scheme from Takara, Iron Factory and Newage as they've all done it justice!

    Megatron's possibly my favourite individual IF figure, so many great display options!. Regular G1 is how I've currently got him but I've tried all the other versions and if they did a reissue I'd be tempted to get a 2nd.

    Oh, brilliant. I ordered Legacy Needlenose and Breakdown from Amazon a couple weeks ago when they were at their lowest price. Take a look at what was delivered to me today:

    IMG_0347.JPG

    Some poxy warehouse packer needs to learn to read the name on the box. Well.... it's not a big deal. A quick refund and I can get Breakdown while he's discounted at Smyths for £19.99. I can game the system for free delivery by adding a 90p Minecraft sticker pack to the purchase. If anyone is still looking for Breakdown, this is your best chance. :cool:

    Nabbed a 18 bob N.E.S.T. Bonecrusher from Hasbro's Warehouse. Rude not to, really!

    Shall name him Stonecrusher. Erl King Megatron gets another ogre!

    @Xaran Alamas,
    Ferrets are a very adventurous species :D

    Incidentally I got asked by my niece if I'd ever seen Netflix She-Ra the other day so we had a nice chat about it :)
