I'm in the same boat- ordered with Bombburst within hours of them being listed.

I see IDT have commented on Facebook that they were shorted by Hasbro and are trying source more on import. But to be fair- they should be emailing us directly about that.

That's another early IDW1 team complete.

    IMG_20230316_165458_826~2.jpg

Jetfire and his unit, AKA the Technobots. Mostly seen in Stormbringer and Revelation. Surprisingly heavily-armed for what appeared to be the science team :)

Considering selling on Scrounge and the Combiner hands/feet, since I'll likely never use them...

Drove home still raging about this. Missed out the 89 Batmobile yesterday too. Bloody R plate drivers tipping me over the edge.....

I remember briefly discussing with Apollux about Hasbro's ability to reflect on sales data. While I'm still of the opinion that they are always clueless, but recent times have proved they have been unable to adapt to shipping crisis, rising oil prices and inflation,, and knock on effect on demand etc

The re-issue TFTM seekers - do they still have the die cast of the olden days or has it been swapped for plastic?

I was just looking at them a moment ago and thinking the same thing. Upon looking at the photo of hound I would say all plastic.

After posting earlier about my second-favourite mould* I saw this on eBay. Not going to buy it**, but couldn’t find anything via TFU, TFWiki, or Google.

Anyone know what this is, or if it’s anything? Might be just an unpainted SDCC Skywarp?

*Numbers-wise, anyway. IF Seeker apparently my favourite, Siege Sideswipe third…

**Almost certainly not going to buy it. Probably not going to buy it, definitely.

No, Diecast will still be in place, you can't just fire plastic into a mould for diecast. Unless this is a specific new mould for this run of reissues TC should still have diecast, my 2018 Starscream still has it but can't say of the others.

I also think that Hound has Diecast too, if he didn't then Hasbro wouldn't have gone to the trouble of painting the rear of the figure

I’d be interested in Scrounge if you do.

If hasbro want me to buy another seeker, they should do Slipstream. And not as a cone head. I'd be happy with her using ramjet wings or something, but no conehead.

That’s slightly reassuring to hear. I know Starscream didn’t get a release over here and I’m not that fussed about him, but that Baby Blue TC reissue would look nice on the shelf with the MP… but I also love my Toy reissue and not too fussed about a new one if it’s just plastic.

I think the gun as a bit big compared to the CGI model but it still looks cool

Hey all, does anyone have any smaller figs they want to sell? GI Joes, or anything at that 3 3/4 inch scale?

I don't really know GI Joe so anyone that looks like a mechanic, or is just in civilian clothing, or a pilot, or anything a bit cyberpunky or sci-fi.

Basically anything apart from military camouflage!

Doesn't even need to be particularly posable really, just at that scale or smaller?

    Yes and thank you, but:
    A) that person seems to also want Rewind without Twincast,
    B) I already ended up buying a Twincast with Game vouchers.

I suggest you look for figures from the recent GI Joe live action movies (not the Snake Eyes one), they will have the realistic look you want and sci fi stuff as well

Agreed, I passed on that set from my mate for half price as I wasn't collecting Marvel Legends at the time. Luckily Kraven is with Chameleon in my tier of important but not necessarily required Spidey villains.
They have quite a few different data sources, but only a few retailers give them actual POS data.

Most give weekly or even monthly data, and base it at a master SKU level (entire wave level sometimes re-used). A lot also only report how many units have sold, as they're focused on what they need in terms of replenishment.

Also another key factor here is the teams do sometimes focus too much on the in-sell to retailers, rather than sell-through data to consumers.

This frequently leads to large overstocks, and also over-production as the numbers routinely get confused by sales/marketing people :(

I regret not buying Chameleon but I've no doubt he'll get some sorta rerelease with different heads or just slapped onto an animated card.

And it is frightening that they STILL can't interpret data when they've never had so much of it. They're hardly broke but the money wasted/left on the table even in a given quarter is ridiculous.
