Quer deal on these 3. Never thought I'd get coneheads, nevermind the lovely reissue ones.
Dirge has starscream's hands, but the seller and myself are gonna sort that out.

Are these the Platinum reissues? A bit of isopropyl strips those CE marks right off.

I was looking at that thinking "They look good all together, there's quite a few that look Action Force-y, I like the... THAT'S SGT SLAUGHTER!" Never going to get used to that. It's like Masters of the Universe having Mankind as a character.

Actually, I would buy the fuck out of that. Who Would Win™: Man-At-Arms vs Mick Foley?

I guess looking like Action Force is an essential requirement of Gi Joe what with it being just another form of Action Force and vice versa.
Thought what really bakes my brain is how many things in Fortnite look like the even older form of Action Force as well as Gi Joe.

Just another reason I still need a Marvel Death's Head 1 (Original costume) Action Figure in 6" scale I suppose since that is part of the same Universe 'of sorts'. Though I guess there is a slight distinction in Action Force for the Sgt. who is called Sgt. Slammer in Action Force rather than Sgt. Slaughter as he is in wrestling and Gi Joe. But yes that is pretty surrealist isn't it. We nearly got Rocky and Rambo in Gi Joe too. Which would have been hard to explain what with them both being played by the same actor.

Call it £38 delivered for two with the usual free gift :)

@Hobart Paving Mattel had a very successful Masters of the WWE line. So they cancelled it. Now they make WWE in that style then don't distribute them. They're operating at a level we simply can't comprehend.

I may have just made a massive mistake of watching emgo’s review of Legacy Animated Universe Prowl!

I’ve never been a fan of the aesthetic of the Animated series, and it came out in the period that I had no interest in Transformers (strictly G1 cartoon, for me), but that is one of the best looking motorcycle forms for a transformer that I think I have seen!

Seriously thought that I was only on the hook for Shrapnel from this wave, now may need to find funds for another one. And then there’s the idea of where does he hang out?

Oh, the difficulties of being a collector, huh?

Some of my favourite mainline Decepticon "space tanks" (God, that's a lot of qualifiers) of recent years.

Nice that we get less H-Tanks and the ones we do get are pretty damn good.

So, barring any unforeseen order cancellation shenanigans, once I get Twin Twist in I thought I'd scan the Wreckers' Hammer components for posterity as it were, would anyone in here want access to the scans if/when I do?

Got what I thought was a bargain Takara Age of Extinction Stinger in good condition (as described), but instead received an OSKO covered in dirt. Marked as 'no returns' on Ebay but we'll see about that...

I'm told that KT88's work well with the Euro G1.5 stuff.

Thanks everyone. Sad days indeed. But always some joy getting friends and family together to share memories. Got to love my in-laws, not even tragedy stops them from having a laugh.

In the meantime my dad decided he'd add to the drama by going to a&e with what turned out to be cellulitis. He's alright, few antibiotics will sort him out. 16 hour wait Wasn't easy for him. Nor the old friend who he bumped into over to the hospital who sat chatting with him for 20mins before announcing "oh I better get back to the isolation room, sure I've covid"...

    Immuno-compromised and 75 my dad.

People want to play Russian roulette with their own health- fine. But putting others at risk is where I think I should be allowed to kick them till they've arse cheeks inside their foreheads

Annnd bought. With two of the retro Joe figures! I can somewhat justify them given their compatibility with the collab bots :p

... if your arse hurts, you've popped those pins in the wrong hole.

Fingers crossed for the new opportunity dude

Since getting back into collecting I've been just collecting legends and core class scale stuff. With that in mind can anyone think of any deluxe or voyager figures that'd scale nicely with them? Going for G1 characters.

I've got deluxes like Ransack and Gnaw who I feel scale nicely. Can anyone think of any others that'd work?

All I can think of so far is
    Potp Battletrap
    Siege Flywheels
