As a huge beast wars and bayverse fan, I'm very meh about it. The trailer hasn't got me hyped or wanting to see what's happening the way the bay trailers did, i don't care that the maximals are in it because like the kingdom show, they aren't the og guys from the show (thankfully) so it's not like tftm where i am seeing my characters on the big screen, i am seeing different versions of them on the big screen. I'll watch it, but I'm not excited.

Just had to drive to Derby and back to get one of my cats some blood tests and Cat Scans (not the Beast Machines repaint). £650 for consultation and blood work, I think it was £2,400 for CT scans. Insurance will cover 2k but then that's the policy maxed our for the next 12 months.

That's a long winded way of saying, please check my ebay pages (links in sig) and see if there's anything you fancy, it will really help.

Same here though I am getting increasingly excited. Thing is sure the trailers seem a bit closer to the Bayformer movies than Bumblebee, but the thing is I've often said the Bay films had interesting concepts executed poorly. The fact Bay isn't directing this one has me optimistic. Afterall they do say there's no bad ideas, just bad execution.
Also yeah I'm pretty hyped for the beasts and like what we've seen of them so far.

That said, I wouldn't have said no to a whole series of Charlie and Bee going on adventures :D .

Yes. It is a set with arm, tight and calf fillers for Needlenose. It will be £12 + postage and available in mid of April.

I won't be bothering with (Insert Bay/Beeverse abbreviation here) because life is short, and I'm still in the holdouts camp that gave the first 20 mins of the Bee movie a try only to have to rinse the next twenty-odd mins of Godawful human-y rubbish (and that's fucking NOT Blitzwing!!) away with industrial-strength guitar noise for the rest of that day.

Repeating that is a fuck-no proposition. What I will say on the positive side is I don't hate some of the designs in quite the way that I usually would, and NazghulBot may even end up a purchase if he's clearanced by Fat Mike. That's progress for me.

That so called "wheeljack" van can fuck off though. Kid appeal is one thing, creepy school-gates loitering is something else entirely.

Otherwise I'll stick with watching OG Beast Wars on YooToob ta.

Well, as much as I was impressed by the renders and early product photos, having this in hand it's impossible to ignore the glaring QC and engineering issues. Disappointing!

Renew your OF sub, Boabie. Asking for these free handouts feels very vulgar.

    Hope that cat's ok, Sid.

After a run of back up strips that included Stuff from Jim Shooter's New Universe, my first taste of 'Action Force', and (UGH) Hercules, we finally get something nice and meeting with The Inhumanoids (much like Robotix, I can't say it without the theme tune running through my end). In 1987 I hadn't become familiar with Lovecraft, but I'd seen enough horror films on channel 4 to be excited by something spooky and slightly bodyhorror-ish. And I'm still slightly freaked out that the last issues ended on Sandra Shore getting turned into a monster.
My friend had the toys of the four members of Earth Corps. I thought they were shit. Their heads were tiny, the articulation wasn't nearly as good as the Action Force and Visionaries figures we were enjoying, and the facesculpts were hideous. All these things remain true, but now I love these toys. The designs are genuinely otherworldly and it turns out you can buy my heart with light piping. One day, I will own the Inhumanoids themselves. And those lads that are trees.

Yeah, 8 was missing from the 90s collected volume too, cos Doctor Who, I guess. Yet they reprinted as part of the Incomplete Death's Head Marvel US comics which was just all the DH1 stories with a DHII linking story. Never quite got that.

That said, you're not missing out much with #8, it's not much of a story. More a tie in to a previous Doctor Who magazine villain employing DG to kill the Doctor and an escape plan involving a pantomime horse.

I think it's because there are different rights deals for Doctor Who comics in the US and the UK, looks like the only time #8 has ever been reprinted is in Marvel UK editions. If I'm remembering right, IDW couldn't distribute their Doctor Who comics over here because of the same thing and they ended up getting reprinted by Titan instead?
