Ok, I’ll play Alter Of Acquisition. I’ve just cleared a shelf so I can use that (but it might not be sufficient space for the whole year!) but that could be part of the fun when grand dion arrives!



In terms of highlights and low lights; highlight is battles gridman, acquired for £75 delivered from mandarake and I’ve not really put it down. Not really a lowlight but if I had to pick one, SSBB Ironhide, just cos is the same as ratchet and I knew exactly what I was getting.

Special mention to SSBB Arcee, who arrived from @mark_h to complete my SSBB bots. I don’t have SSBB starscream or B-127 but I’m not too fussed about owning the same mould multiple times so, that’s them done, as far as I’m concerned.

For Feb, well, I’ve got da-94 vajra coming from RK and a Mech fans toys iron sentinel en route.

I would quite like a legacy pointblank, tarn and jhiaxus (but I snoozed on those cheap IDT ones and missed out) but not paying full price for any tfs that aren’t absolutely essential to me right now. Doesn’t seem to make sense.

Looking forward to see what stuff is announced today but in terms of must haves, I’m not after many, insecticons, SS86 Dino’s (rumble at a not ridiculous price), Sureshot (if I pick up pointblank) and that’s your lot.

They seemed to have a few bots long sold out on other retailers. I ordered the idw stealth bomber megatron and had a shipping notification 8 days ago. But no update or tracking since. I contacted them and just got a generic reply about receiving payment and shipping.

 

I’ve used them but it was pre-brexit arrangements so not sure what buying from them means for other charges you may incur or possible customs delays? They were good at the time though…

I didn't get much this month but highlights were Night Countess and Sky Lynx, both of whom are incredibly well done toys, and the lowlight was getting a 3P Beast Box with two of the same blasters (which barely affects him)

I also decided to make mine a collage for vague reasons

+1 on what the other guy said, liverpool is a very nice city to visit! albert docks especially, the tate modern and all those little shops around there. very cool

The wee man. Let's be honest, 'blaster always looks cool. He's Soundwave in black FFS, that's always gonna be a win. But the shade of purple used here just sets it all off nicely and I'd love to see a voyager of this without the oversized chest cavity. Only things to note (get your pencils out) are the black plastic being a little nasty, and the joints needing tightening. This copy will be living in boombox mode but that's hardly the point. At £13 and this size Hasbro should absolutely be sorting that shit out.







As you'd imagine the alt looks great between the black and really displaying the purple deck, madam. Here's how the instructions have it and how anybody in their right mind will display it.





So it's Moundblaster, warts and all ya need him.
