I'm with you on that. The older cosmos has a nicer looking alt mode imo, was never keen on the dumpy 50's ufo look. Mine tends to stay in saucer mode on Omegas shoulder.

It's the central 'stack' on the Legacy one, it's too high for that 50's look. Like two or three times too high. Just looks really off - to me, at least. I much prefer the Universe Cosmos to it, as well (must pick one of those up). Hopefully Iron Factory will have a go at him one day, would like to see their take - given that they managed to make Seaspray look good!

Good morning Thredmachines! Survived extremely knackering first week at new gig in new field, currently trying to muster enthusiasm to toddle off to Game and pick up the Scourge I ordered.

Two coffees and I'm barely vertical! Evo Lio is nice, Tarn is a funky badas (sic - this was my brother's screen name for a multi-player video game, it had a character limit and we've been saying "funky badas" ever since).

New Zealand Story rocks and I still remember the cheat code for the Amiga version. That poor whale, the walrus put him up to it and he got the worst case of indigestion he'd ever had.

Felt kinda sorry for the assistant in Game this morning - I decided to grab a cheap Soundwave (well, it's easier than trying to remove all the 'battle damage' from the Siege version) - and asked about their move into toys and collectables. He was telling how the games market is dying and that they are trying to diversify into toys and merch as its more profitable...

I just didn't have the heart to tell him how close to the precipice the adult collector market is.

In other news, Tesco's had the flip changers and I've secured a Wheeljack. Utterly terrible figure with ZERO points of articulation (I assume it would mess up the 1-flip gimmick if any part of the figure was in the wrong position), but he's fun and knocking him over and watching him transform does not get old.

I really can't see price conscious parents picking these up though, they just scream cheap (though not) novelty item.

 

I wish there'd been some kind of way for all the people who didn't want their Siege battle damage to add it onto my figures instead...

EDIT: I'm busy playing with Studio Series Kup right now and I think he's a) criminally underrated; and b) a perfect example of a figure that could use a load of battle damage. #f**kedkup

 

No joy. Plenty of Blitzwing, Soundwave etc. No new but looks like they're making room. Probably within the next week.

I actually had the thought this morning that I'd love a future episode with Marinette and co helping to set up a romantic date for Juleka and Rose. No idea of the villain stuff going on but it'd be fun if it also was an excuse to have a Purple Tigress/Pigella team up  

Please don't make this weird. You can appreciate her design without making it sexual.

Right now my Ladybug merch plans are the 12cm figs and some of the Kwami plushies, by my estimates they're about 1:1 scale or so.

I did well from people divesting themselves of this superior Cosmos, I ended up with the TR and T30 versions.
