pretty much what Q Prime said, the bots who were on the last fan vote all those years ago have happened and bar a few exceptions have been great figures, Spinister and Needlenose being on par with eachother

Thought I'd show the alt-modes! Starscream is excellent and definitely staying. Soundwave is solid as a truck but translucent as [ice - Ed]. Bee has an edge to the plastic, carries as if from afar the aroma of shampoo.

Wish they'd made them all from the same stuff as Starscream, which is like the plastic of Slaug, Arcee & Prowl. Of course, Sideways has them all beaten (literally!) hollow, but those are the days that will not come again.

(I just heard a quiet voice saying, "Don't be stupid, be a smartie! Spend your coins upon Third Party!" Am ignoring it...Optus Plexus with yellow eyes? MMC Protectobots? Never heard of any of 'em...)

 

And yet, plenty of younger folks get into g1. Comics certainly have a role there. But yeah, before you know it the cheeseburgers will claim us all and the bayverse kiddos will be the old hands of the tf fandom.

I don't think too hard about it. Just they at one point had the numbers and fought across the galaxy so yeah big. As @Toadimus Prime said furman had drawn the scale into 1,000 of years rather than millions. Shame it was discarded.

I had one or two myself. Kinda cheap from what I recall, well stocked in the local dunnes stores beside the manta force gear.
