    It's a joke as Hasbro is so keen to ditch things that they'd likely be able to order some for pennies.

    Mine was listed as due tommorow but they have not even marked it as sent so I expect mine will be cancelled too.
    I fully expect the toy to be over stock due to the Dragon Megatron being released twice so He will be cheap soon enough so I can't say I am that bothered. He may end up easier to get than Legacy Galvatron even.

    I've alerted Smyths to the fact they have stock in store that isn't on the site.

    They've apparently "passed this information on to the buyer", so let's see what happens.

    Worth having a whinge to Amazon, me and a mate have been given £25 gift cards so we can 'reorder' lol.

    Not buying it at that price now, thinking about rumble instead as it's essentially free money and his price is ridiculous.

    I agree with your whole post. Funnily enough, I was looking into where customers stand on this given the lame excuse of not being able to fulfil this when clearly they do have stock. They really should have said closer to the time it went up for PO they miss priced it and cancelled the order. I would have accepted that but why let 6 months pass by and on the day I have an actual delivery time from them, pull the rug. Why wait till the eleventh hour to do it?

    If I miss price (under charge) the financial advice I give to clients I take that on the chin. I’ve never gone back to a client and said sorry but I made a mistake in my pricing, I’m going to need you to pay up more.

    You just got a £25 gift card for their wanky cancellation at the last minute?

    I’m struggling to bring up the actual order they cancelled. Which of the options did you go through to get the gift card?

    reminds me of when amazon put up a listing for that 3P legends class bruticus set.

    it was $0.12.

    many people ordered 100 of them (only $12) but regretably, amazon cancelled them! no doubt it was Bezos himself pushing the button, so he could keep his treasure trove of combaticons to himself.

    Yes the order is conveniently removed, can't even access the order number from your account!

    Go to "something else" right at the bottom of the first menu of complaint options, it goes through a chat bot first then you can request live help.

    It may go differently for you though, a third mate was told he had to reorder at the full price and then request a refund after.

    You can access the order number, at least through a browser. When you go to your page full of orders, look at the top and there's a bunch of options - click "cancelled orders"

    yeah they're playing hardball with me, saying that because there are two different sellers (original item was sold by amazon uk and new item by amazon eu) then they cannot offer anything

    also i have been given a lot of discounts from prior complaints to amazon so they are probably less inclined to give me a new one

    btw this isnt true, both the original item was sold by amazon EU and the current one on the site is sold on amazon EU. they wont give me anything but dont let them try to mislead you this way if you're trying to get something out of them

    He got a better result in the end, had to give up and wait a little while to get a different customer service rep though.

    that would actually happen, if somebody outside the primary team noticed the issue they would go full Bias For Action and escalate it.
