I have the one released for the first film, which looks to be the same mold as that one.
When you say modable, what have you got in mind?

Oh cool! ideally I'd wanna take it apart and maybe replace bits of it. So does it have a lot of pins in joints?

My Skyquake's launcher has been loaded since 2015. The pressure of the spring is slowly forcing a huge crack into the gold plastic. :(

If a toy is near-guaranteed to break if you ever handle it, is it in effect already broken?

I'd mentioned in the Altar of Acquisition that I had a Grimlock KO on the way, and I didn't even know what it was a KO of (or how good a KO it might be). I happened to stumble across a picture today that revealed it's apparently a KO of a Legends-scale model kit Warbotron released to go with their Computron, and was designed for them by Iron Factory. So that explains why I saw it and liked it so much I took a punt on the KO! I'm consistent, at least, if rarely correct...

Speaking of things that are incorrect, or just plain wrong, I'm definitely, definitely, done messing with this now...

As long as you don't collapse the probability waveform it's still technically fine. And broken. #goldplasticSchrödinger

From recollection the joints are pin free, it all just slots together so should be easy enough to take apart to customise.
If I can remember which box I stored it in I'll dig it out and have a look! :)

Yeah, definitely up for considering anything. The 3P Omega (Iron Sentinal) looks like a possibility for example. Thanks

Thanks for that - there’s a set of the white ones on eBay for about £20, so think I’ll maybe just grab that while I can.

That’s rubbish about the yellow arm. He should see some kind of mechanic/doctor about that. If such a thing even exists.

Entropy always wins, whether the plastic cracks now or as part of the sun going Supernova, it doesn't matter, just enjoy it. You'll be dead before most of these toys, so relax.

Edit: crikey, that got dark, sorry. The takehome is you're doing the right thing just enjoying it.

FYI, BBTS have Holiday Prime listed now so you can probably expect that to show up elsewhere too.

Optimus: "We know you're here, poppet!"

    We know you're here, poppet.jpg

Strange company came through! Picked up from Argos, no damage to toy box or packaging. Now let's see what flies out when Optimus cuts the can open....

Amen to that! Bah humbug to bait-and-switches.

Aren't they? Really good articulation for the teeny size.

Check my post just now in the 57 thread for some pointers for transformation in case you come up against the same thing.

    It's a bloody good figure
