    Just a couple of lads.

    Tarn is so FLAT!!!

My only complaints about Tarn are that I wish his shoulder joints continued around to the top of his arms so that poses like that would look more natural and that he came with a thinner adapter so that his Fusion Cannons sat next to eaach other, like in the comic.

    Minor stuff.

I reckon Lio Convoy's wears his beast mode so much better than Kingdom Primal. Those collapsing back legs are A LOT better IMHO.

A total win, I would say. Only nitpick is the lack of decent weapons. Needs a sword for sure.

Very cool. Funny seeing the Ranger Slayer in that style.

Though I am again wishing they'd done an Airazor redeco in black plastic...

They'd scale horribly! That said I should take some pics with my Titans.

    :rock

I really should get back to doing my Power Rangerfied Transformer pics sometime... especially as I have far more Rangers now.

I'm partial to the Matrix one.

I'm so relieved (gutted armada fans aren't getting their cyclonus) but a comic getaway before the original versions even been done? One of my most wanted figures!

Got some parts in the mail today and dug my old YM Sunstorm out of storage. The mold may be old, but this guy still cleans up nicely IMO. Still desperately waiting for a new MP-style to come along (although Maketoys Nova Swarm isn't bad. I just wish somewhere closer to here stocked it.)

Got Galaxy Shuttle earlier from Game, very impressed for £25, had a fair few of him but no Scourges unfortunately.
Galaxy Shuttle seems to wear the locomotive and robot mode better than Astrotrain does.

Did see Tonkanator but it really will have to wait until at least next Friday for potential Birthday money

Never heard of them. Most of the stuff they have is on pre-order, which makes me think they're fairly new. Have you dealt with them before?

I never bought into the Voyager Seekers because of their underwhelming design. They're little more than upscaled Deluxes and pale in comparison to the modernized figures in the line. TBH, I wouldn't mind another do-over with transformation cues taken from MP-52. Would you want to go through the hunt for all six once again? :scalper

Been playing with the Black Shadow I bought from @Napalm all evening. Love him. Convinced me that my initial Masterforce-esque OSKO Overlord, original IF Sixshot and Black Shadow idea was probably right for me. I like the way they look together like that. Sometimes someone just feels like they should be bigger.

Still not sure about the OSKO's Jetfire size. Although, weirdly, I swapped the head for the masked one (the masked face is a copy of the IF one, unlike the non-masked version) and the scale somehow seems better. What? How does that work?! Need to play with him and some other toys more before deciding. That's my excuse, anyway.

Also have cancelled my Amazon order for Legacy Transmetal II Megatron. He looks aces, but I'm not in for figures of the Transmetal and Transmetal II versions of the whole cast. When I think of Beast Megatron I think of a purple T-Rex, so that's the Beast Megatron for me, yes? :)

Besides, Iron Factory do Optimal Optimus* and Transmetal II Megatron, so I'll get those instead! :)

Sergeant Slaughter? As in, the Wrestler? In Action Man?

This is wonderful, by the way. Love it.

I was surprised by how much I love Siege Crosshairs. As soon as I messed with him he went instantly from a character not really on my radar to one of my absolute favourites from the whole line. Still trying to get hold of the Captive Pinpointer for him (without buying the Netflix Megatron multipack)...

That guy knows how to build a model kit...

I really like the Bumblebee movie toys every time I see them. Never thought much about movie toys apart from them, but then Bumblebee was the only movie I didn't hate** so it probably makes sense. Possible future collection there, maybe, after finishing off one of the others...

I never bought any of them because I loved the Siege Tetrajet so much more that they were staggeringly uninteresting. They should have stuck with that (Shattered Glass Starscream excepted)...

    *And a Primal Prime coming...
**Apart from The Transformers: The Movie, but that's a separate thing. And me really enjoying that film and it actually being a good movie are two very different things. Bumblebee's better, anyway. ;)

this is just how they operate. they get a shipment of nonnef goods every few months, with a preorder window beforehand. if you want something best to order asap in case you miss the boat and have to wait for another shipment. totally legit, its the best (only?) way to get nonnef stuff over here.

Quick question..was just about to open Legacy Buzzsaw and wondered if anyone can post a picture so can compare with mine. Honestly, the colour of mine is like a really light washed out yellow, same with the purple   Just wondered if yours is the same or if I have been unlucky. He doesn't seem as vibrant at all, as apposed to the look of him in the online video reviews or pictures I have seen..so just wondered ;)

Glad you're loving him, mate. He's an immense figure. Fallling out of love with Iron Factory (I blame Siege.. and I hate Siege for not seeing Siege though) was a real turning point for me as a collector and not good for either my bank balance or my focus.

That dovetails nicely into me arriving fashionably late to the types of collector convo. I was the moron who saw it, wanted and bought it, then with some razor focus almost became a Legends collector who would use Titans and 3P MP Combiners to add a real sense of awe to the whole shebang and now, thanks to Hasbro briefly getting their shit together and MMC evolving into the best toymakers in the business, I am the Fucking Moron V2.0 who sees it, wants it and buys it with nary a care for how or where it fits except when it comes to display.. and then my haphazard nature makes all the fun come undone.

Currently having a good purge, takes time but definitely necessary, and to be honest I'm enjoying playing fast and loose with the collection. Siege onwards is going nowhere. MMC is here to stay. Threezero's stuff - didn't even mention them 'til now - is cemented in (although I may sell the repaints I have). Other stuff can come and go as it pleases. Except Planet X. Fucking love me some Planet X. TFC too, they make a damn good Prime six times over. Fans Hobby are ace as well.

    Fucks sake.

I'll tell you what though, I don't half miss the thrill of walking into some random shop and finding Transformers you had never seen or heard of before. It's all very.. staid now, isn't it? One of my favourite finds was a Robots In Disguise 3 pack comprised of repaints of Beast Machines Vehicons. That was in a shoe shop. In some basement. Halcyon times.

Walking to to a seaside shop in Great Yarmouth and finding TM2 Dragon Megatron and Tigerhawk. Both were very quickly purchased! The other one that sticks out was finding RID rail racer figures in a shop in France on holiday.

But Bumblebee IS a good movie. It's a great movie. If I'm honest I think I enjoyed it more than I did rewatching The Movie as an adult. Actually yeah, Bumblebee is my favourite Transformers movie.
The Movie still beats out the two Bayformer movies I've actually seen though by a mile. And if we include TV movies, Darkness Rising AKA the multi part but also shown as a movie sometimes opening of Transformers Prime beats the Bayformer movies for me :D

As for the BB take on Tetrajet, well, they'd work really well as Seeker heavies alongside Siege Tetrajets ;)

Ordered one on ebay as I was getting worried of missing out. It took a VERY long trip through the postal service to get to me to the point I had thought it lost in the post and was close to filing a claim with ebay to get my money back, I was convinced it was lost so when I ordered a cheap SSBB Thundercracker on IDT I also ordered another Ironhide who they had for exactly half what I paid on ebay, at £14.

As it happens, the original one I got had some looser legs but better grip on his hands and the second one had better legs but loose hands so I swapped the hands to the second one.

That said, gonna keep both. Might redo the other one as an Autobot grunt though also kinda tempted to paint him black and make an SSBB Vanguard - what I call DK 2 Guard. :)
