    Great redeco!

    Dear diary... jackpot.

nice. Underrated toy line that. Still have the scoreboard!

One for the wankbank. Had a lil mouse problem myself last month. Peanut butter is a good lure for traps.

Such a shame that TR gutcruncher never actually happened. Often thought about commissioning a custom.

    Nnniiicccceee!

Ooh nice kit. Definitely makes his gams more appealing.

For those not fully enabled on beastbox....

Not a devastator fan but it does look quite nice. You can even combine multiple copies. And the cockpits are scaled to fit diaclone pilots :D

    Same.

Works but he's out of stock. I'll keep an eye out in case more pop up. I want a second Scourge just for upgrade kits.

This is why no matter how shitty the quality gets, Transformers fans will never vote with their wallets. Compulsion!!

I don't actually own a Devastator. I want one but I can't decide which to get. I want a CHUG one but the only decent one is Unite Warriors, which I can never afford.

I should probably just hang in there for the inevitable SS86 one

When did you start collecting? UW Devastator was readily available from many online stores, and the favourable exchange rate with the yen before Brexit meant it was actually cheaper to import than buying the CW version locally. Not to mention UW Devy saw a reissue or two later. It still remains one of the best sets in my collection. Even if a SS86 Devastator was made, Imma never replacing my UW goodness. :)

It’s alright mate I’ll go ahead and buy one, you’ll get your SS86 not long after I do :p  I’d kill for an SS86 Devastator really, although I want an Autobot combiner after Menasor. Give me Superion Hasbro ffs

I'd like my Devastator to be as non-G1 as possible, which is why I wish that Lucky Cat one was a few cm taller (I'd like it to be bigger than IF Bruticus). Autobot-combiner wishlist-wise it's gotta be Computron for me (although I do really like Maketoys' Quantron) - although Iron Factory are doing Liokaiser, so I'm more than combiner-happy enough!

Blood Angels do indeed rule :)
They've been my Chapter of choice since I first got Space Crusade as a kid!

Cheers for the heads up to wahapedia, I'll check that out. Beats buying a new rulebook everytime you want to try out a new faction!!

I was similar with Fantasy, I had several unpainted armies. I lucked out at a local flea market once with a guy selling a huge tub full of miniatures. There were goblins, elves, skeletons, assorted humans from the very early days of GW. He let me have it cheap as wanted rid and didn't really know what he had!

That ork is awesome :)  Great job!
My son is collecting Primaris marines at the moment but keeps looking at orks. He's got the kommandos to paint up from killteam, so I get the feeling his next 40k army will be green

    I see green...

Maybe Treds is like that dress that "broke the Internet" a few years back?! Everyone sees a different colour :lol

    Hahah I am injured.

Ok, I bought a £45 HISSMeg from Game. Eveb at £50 posted it's cheaper than the cheapest I saw the set in HK ($550 HKD, about £55) which is insane when you think about it.

Anyway delivered yesterday by DPD. I was in the back working (where I can't hear the doorbell) checking on the DPD site. 'Your driver is at stop 36, you are 44, ETA 15 minutes' or something.

Straight to 'sorry we missed you' and a photo of my front door. NUTS. So I run out the front door and see the van going down the end of my service road. Quick scramble to get my shoes on and grab keys and try and chase the van down. Luckily it pulled off just a bit further down the road for stop 45...

But trying to run after the van in the cold with no warm up is not advisable. Pulled a muscle in my leg. Yay! Growing old man.

Anyway I am happy to report that HISSMegs is really cool. I wasn't 100% sure I would like him but actually yeah, he's cool. My only complaint about him is his hollow Fusion Cannon and forearms. Also I was debating keeping the box, but the card is so low grade there doesn't seem to be any point. Keeping Baronesses'ss card though, even though it's also made of low grade card. It can go with Specialist Trakkers card from years and years ago.

Good morning Thredizens! Just reordered Scourge from Game for pick-up in-store as don't trust Evri. Doesn't seem to be a preorder now, so they must think they have stock! We shall see.

@tikgnat I hope your leg gets better soon! I don't know if you've seen that Shockwave Labs have done an upgrade kit for Hissy Megs? New fusion cannon and gap fillers for the biceps and thighs.

    hm2s-l1600.jpg

This is apparently a good seller (at the moment anyway):

Shockwave Lab SL-163 Weapon And Filler Upgrade Kit For G.I.JOE Megatro 3D DIY | eBay

Or from Uncle Billy here (more expensive, but definitely a good seller):

Shockwave Lab SL-163 the upgrade kit for G.I.JOE Megatron | eBay

Will be ordering one after CNY! Cheap Hissy Megs was too much to resist, had been wanting a really tall G1ish Megatron to head up the Decepticon High Command who lead all my CHUG lineups.

    Ouch! Feel better soon dude.

Yeah, I like him too. The boxart is great, but I got rid of it. Takes up space, and as you said, wasn't exactly robust.

Ooooh. Might have to grab this.

Got my Game email for Galaxy Shuttle, Botropolis has shipped too. Might move Sky Lynx to March to manage the costs and to try and manage my recent spike in compulsiveness around TFs which is itself a response to shit-January, my reducing alcohol consumption post festivities and a slight boredom/restlessness since two massive house projects have finished and Christmas organising is in the rear view mirrors.

Whilst chatting about new year resolutions (particularly ones where we deny ourselves things we love-to-excess) with a pal the other day he reminded me that ‘fasting surfaces pain’ - and that’s going to feel uncomfortable for a while. I say that here because I think there’s wisdom in being gentle with ourselves in other ways whilst we’re trying to reposition ourselves in relation to something that’s has gone from fun/self soothing to being a source of stress/anxiety. Be that booze, toys, late night binge watching etc (all of the above…). I find something more helpful in the lent season where letting go/loosening a grip is balanced with a different ‘picking up’ or soothing in a different way. I also think the opposite of addictions isn’t sobriety, but connection and usually find reaching out to others helps me restore balance when something has gotten out of hand.

Anyway, that’s my current musings over the past week. I wish you all peace and joy just now weather it’s a season of pausing, purging, refocusing, accelerating, binging or an outright orgy of purchasing!

I’ll resist saying that if anyones purging POTP line let me know cause that would undermine everything I’ve just said above. But you all know I’m thinking it.
