Jazwares have just released one but they got the size wrong, made it starfighter sized, has room for one pilot instead of a whole squad. :p

Well you can prove anything with facts. I was hoping since he'd turned up on shelves he'd shift a bit earlier?

I think Core Ratchet has been added to Game, something to consider if you've a voucher?

I'm in two mind about the rise of the beast's toys coming out.

On one hand, I know I'm massively affected by characters, so if I don't like the movie or I don't like the characters in the movie, I won't want any of these toys, ideally I'd like to wait till the summer to pick up any.

However, it feels like you have to pre-order everything these days or risk ending up on a ridiculous aftermarket.

    Hmmm...

Indeed. I love transformers with a bit of added weird, a little bit of extra flavour or spice, but Beast Machines clearly demonstrates that I have my limits! Very much the Yoko Ono era of transformers.

That said, I've enjoyed some of the toys, and I even got quite into the show until my boxed set ran out. It tried something new, something that hasn't happened much in transformers for a few years.

That was me. We're not brothers. We're getting married. Commiserations (and thank you)!

Obviously I will take any Predator crumbs from Hasbro's plate, but man...just one new mold for Predators could yield soooooooo much!

Rotorstorm kind of got away with it because of the allusion to the cockpit witht he paint on the chest, that and the Spinister mould is one of the best from Siege.

Unsure which Predator would be a good fit for Needlenose, Maybe Skydive (because Hasbro have the trademark and he is purple) or Snare (by far has the most fictional characterisation). Talon is the same colour as Skyquake so maybe him, (if they did I can only hope they go with his G1 toy for colours rather than Prime Skyquake)

Legacy Evo, still not sure where I'm going to find Breakdown for less than £30 now, regret not preordering him when I had chance.

I do suspect that my girlfriend has put in a preorder on Scourge at Game for my Birthday in just over a week, but I might just have to grab a Galaxy Shuttle if I see one myself, owning the Landcross reissue and Haslab VS (With Deszaras on order it would be silly not to keep up with the set

Planet X Victory Leo has arrived!

    1674051042786.jpg

But first.. let's turn their Star Saber into something that isn't an intolerable piece of shit. These are all the parts I've removed from the lower half that they have provided replacements for.

So, now that Breakdown has arrived, Menasor is complete. I have to say, I am very VERY happy with how this set turned out. So much nicer than the floppy mess that was my experience with the Combiner Wars Stunticons. For me this set is much better in every possible way, besides there not really being any good weapons for combined mode, and the leftover chunk of Motormaster's trailer having no place to go.

All the vehicle modes look fantastic. I care not one bit that Breakdown isn't a proper Lamborghini here, as he would have to be an oddly proportioned Countach to fit on Menasor's leg if he was. It just doesn't bug me at all.

    20230118_135618.jpg

Similarly, the robot modes are a handsome bunch of deviant bastards. Couldn't ask for a better looking bunch really. The only let down is Breakdown being the odd one out and only getting the one blaster, but he makes up for it by being the only one with unobtrusive weapon storage in altmode.

    20230118_140909.jpg

As for Menasor, BUGGER ME he has some HEFT to him, doesn't he? Feels about on par with Haslab Victory Saber if I had to guess. Still can't get enough of the wonderful arm transformation they engineered with this guy. Still kinda sucks that he has no weapons that don't look goofy, but using the weapons from Dragstrip and Dead End I can at least give him wrist blasters.

Ah he looks great! ;) Hope we see these at GAME soon lol! I want this set so much but not willing to pay £90 for it..if you can find it at all.. anything lower than £60 would be fine.

Seems odd that no one made alternative ears for Menasor as the ones he come with look kinda dumb.
