Royal Mail are adding a little mystery into my life - had an email from they saying Tarn and Breakdown were being delivered Wednesday, then a second email saying the same parcel will be delivered today.

 

I have a sustpcioin that they might be a sister company of Transart (purely going off the box art design). If thhe Prime releases are anything like the Transart Transmetal releases then they should be a real treat

Aaaaah. OK. Going to need to take a breather with this one and probably watch a couple of vids, too. It's like they set out to make the transformation as fiddly as possible.

Dammit, I've cracked and pre-ordered the Diaclone Hawk Versa Salter from Amazon Japan. Just too Eagle like for me to pass up.

Was going to take a punt on Bombusbee, but all their pre-order slots have gone, ditto Hobby Link Japan.

 

So I blame you lot for giving me ideas above my station. Had Combiner Wars legends Rodimus arrive today (not great, but there you go) and, getting him ready for stickers, I painted the wheel-rims silver. I then had the idea that the spoiler would fit and look better without the axe handle, and thought 'Sod it, it's only a legends toy, give it a go. Cut one half off, perfect, looked good. Messed the other half up mightily. Still looks better than it did, but any tips on minimising the damage (other than getting another cheap and doing it properly)?

[EDIT: God, that photo looks awful blown up. Sorry. Basically the cut is rough and has removed some material from the top edge, ie the exact place you wouldn't want it to happen. I am an idiot, and this is why I never try customising anything!  ]
