I have newage Jetfire but can't decide if I want MS instead. My collection is 90% MS apart from bee and cliffjumper and the bugs. But he looks a bit squashed in the torso. I just can't decide. Cosmos looks good beside him, I've been trying to find a newage cosmos but the colouring looks fine in your pic. I may just pick him up while he's available.

Really need to get round to ordering menasor but need to sell my remaining MMC or wait a month.

They've cancelled a bunch of Victory Saber orders as "unable to obtain stock" despite being the official partner for Europeans who couldn't order off UK Pulse.

 

I was thinking that earlier. The way the chest is hidden inside the cab could make it pretty easy to resculpt it for TC, and if the colours are the same ish, I don't mind things not being entirely accurate re wheel placement etc in bot mode.

But.

Theyd be using that white plastic again... So I dunno if I'd buy it even if they did do it. And I really love Thunderclash, just hasbro seem determined to keep persisting with the yellow.

First this fella showed up after being 'Out For Delivery' for three days - pretty sure he only turned up today because I've texted the delivery driver three fucking times and publicly shamed the courier company online - and then when Mrs O got home from work he was joined by the Legacy Evolution wave one deluxes!

I went for two Scraphooks in anticipation of the other new Junkions and their swappable parts, but who knows if I think I'll need more once they're out :S

Hot Shot is, as I suspected, the weakest of the bunch - gappy legs, big backpack and rear of legs, no neck etc - but I've surprised myself in enjoying Needlenose the most - aside from his TERRIBLE half-arsed Targetmasters. Great, solid, expressive robot mode, very pleasing transformation and a very swooshable alt-mode!

Where to start... I don't think there's anything you can do with that child's bed on her back, correct me if I'm wrong. Means posing her is neither strong nor stable. The gun barely sits in her hand and is crazy oversized relative to her skinny arms. They didn't even spring(er) for wrist rotation.

She's got waffle thighs on skinny legs with a formerly mad RRP (I got her for £14 and she isn't even worth that). Her elbows rely on little nubs and needless to say one forearm continually falls off. Her torso continually detaches and that is the painted face of a mum who didn't really want to go to a convention with the kids. It needed to be more angular, minimum.





The alt is just as bad. Doesn't have as many godawful panels as it's predecessor but still has the bullshit 'cram her in and add some super thin tabs that will never work' ethic. With added gaps. You can really tell which figures are favoured in-house, can't you? Best I can say is it looks sleeker than previously so long as you squint.

Hmm... The problem here is... I don't disagree with any of that. SS86 Arcee is a combination of Universe Arcee and Kingdom Arcee and somehow manages to add a few problems. Having said that, I do still quite like her, the robot mode (ignoring the backpack and detabbing torso) is the most toon accurate of the 3, so SS86 replaced Universe in the Living Room Display. Those alt mode gaps do still annoy me though.
