    Only teasing. Enjoy him, he's a fantastic set. And if you have him upright, he takes less room. He stands stable enough upright.

    Hugs for @Xaran Alamas and @motorthing

    I think I'll pick up the Prime designs going by Arcee and Bulkhead, but Animated and Armada aren't working for me so far.

    I'm also suddenly struck by how much OG1 Seawatch could slot right in the Battle Patrol by alt. mode, as that pair of wee implied turrets seems way more coastal defence than coastal rescue!

    So my SG Starscream came today:

    [IMG]
    Really happy with the delivery. Two working days at this time of year is pretty good. No complaints here.

    [IMG]
    And he looks pretty cool against my growing Seeker collection.

    What I don't like, however, is the yellowing out of the box:
    [IMG]
    I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but it's 2022. I think I would rather that pieces like this were painted white than cast in white to avoid this problem

    He'd get on well with heavily-armed rescue helicopter Blades.

    I'm holding out for £50-£60 - he has to go half price, surely? :cool:

    Much love XA. Never a bad idea to cut back so that you can get more enjoyment out of it. One good thing about TFs (and other toys presumeably) is that when I feel like I've got too many or just some that I don't feel much joy for, they're not too tricky to sell on.

    @saucesmithco Christmas joy for everyone!

    I do kinda wish that for Combiner Wars he and Vortex had gotten pontoons more like the Torchbearer copter gals over his *ahem* "rescue missiles" moulded in the forearms!

    Seeing as calendars are dropping, I may as well reveal the bonus 'bonus' of a Star Wars papercraft model in the back!

    Basically when orders went above what I thought, I bought these 2 books, which is why I was happy to max out at 50, because 25 x 2 =50. See? Who said you never use your GCSE maths ever again?

    Anyway which one did YOU get? (Most) peoples were assigned by when they ordered and when they paid... ie, randomly.

    So the person who got my delivery randomly at there house yesterday dropped them over to the correct address, which was all kinds of lovely.

    But man Breakdown really sucks…. He has a single awful gun, a spoiler that in no way makes an axe or any other valid weapon, nor does it store anywhere. He has a specific piece of clear plastic in his head presumably for light piping that his painted eyes prevent so why is it even needed? There’s a large sheet of clear plastic sticking out horizontally like a shelf on his back just asking to be snapped off, and the paints slathered so very thickly on the legs and face. He’s not awful but he feels like such a total afterthought compared to say Tarantulas or Dragstrip, Needlenose is still in the box but he looks great from what I can see.

    @Insurgent

    I think so far he has a much worse alt mode than I can recall of my UW version, the robot modes lower legs are not gaping voids, the pistol is garbage, but the sword/gun ain’t great either. The UW backpack isn’t a massive fragile liability though, so I think I prefer the UW version. I might have the CW version somewhere too…..

    Got the lads together now they are all here 141D2FAE-1358-4817-AD46-6AC15A965BBB.jpeg

    In other news, I went for a wander around my local TK Max today in hope of some inspiration for last minute presents for my folks. Of course, I hit the toy aisle first and, although there we no Selects, I did find a Legacy Kickback and, well for £13 I couldn’t really turn it down…. Did find other things for presents, but what a nice surprise.

    I had thought that I was happy with the previously released versions, but what is a shopping trip without the purchase of “a little plastic man”, as my missus calls them.

    Now waiting on my Rumble to turn up from IDT (it’s currently in the hands of Royal Mail, so…)

    Put that SS Devastator on my basket for a second. Then remembered what a pain it was to shift Omega Supreme and other large figures. Nah, out you go.

    I got the Blockade Runner, will try to make it while I'm off over Christmas

    Is that the Marvel Legends version? If so what did you do to it? It looks great

    Evening all. A few notes first: @Paneltron is a lovely man, and my calendar arrived from @tikgnat, looking great as always

    I just opened Breakdown. He's certainly a robot. I actually don't mind the car mode, but the spoiler gets on my nerves. Not only does it look silly as a weapon, but it breaks the two guns per 'bot symmetry

    He makes a fine leg though, which is how he'll spend most of his time. It's a shame that the Menasor excitement petered out a little, because it's a great set. It just feels like it fell slightly short of (admittedly high) expectations
