Gorram Ebay F***knuckles! Hope you can straighten them out, bidding on an item and then haggling the cost is not how auctions work, FFS!

The eyes have it. Well, they do now. Couldn't really get on with the light piping so a spot of shiny metallic red for Liokaiser and the lads made all the difference.

I'm impressed with these figures. Dated as they are (expectedly so for 6 year old 3P.. and from TFC at that), they're pretty wonderful to mess about with and still look fantastic.

They are magnificent, I love the Energon style chonk and how damn lethal they look. They look very much like a team that is going to be very capable of fucking things up, messily and violently.

Tank Transformers are great, and they get two. Jet Transformers are classic and great, and there’s three. Rocket launching dune buggies are more unique, but also so damn cool. Glad you are enjoying them!

    SCHWING!

What's your metallic red of choice? I looks a lot smoother/less glittery/metallic flakey than my faithful Mr. Hobby!

Something that’s a bit more robust about this deluxe for some reason, he manages the kibble of the helicopter or lack of tbh amazingly well because it’s all incorporated into the design. My ex partner at the time I got Spinister couldn’t believe that he transformed.

I kinda want a typical stealth black/grey or army green version of this guy as a Mercenary goon. Still in the middle of turning my extra Rotorstorm into a G1 inspired Blackout

He paid. I'm just in awe at the gall of trying to weasel out of shipping cost.

Gun metal round parts of the shins and knees, silvered the thighs, gun metalled the hip flaps and the back of the legs. Gun metalled the shoulder pieces and silvered the tips. Chromed the bottom of his collar and neck. Chromed the rear of the cannon. Filler kit and Renderform head. 2022-10-08-07-12-59-888.jpg

Think you've got it nailed there, especially with the Energon comparison. They've got the punch of fellas like Evac, Bulkhead and Mirage. Very similar feel.

He's looking great on your desk that's for sure!
While I love that mold as Spinister, I really hope we get a new more accurate version of Rotorstorm including massive turbine/blasters :)

Yeah I mean that really is pretty ridiculous!
I mean I could kind of understand querying a large postage amount back in that period where people tried to dodge eBay fees by shifting the majority of the item cost to the Postage.
But again that'd be something you do before agreeing to to buy....

In Toy related news I'm really enjoying the ML Terrax I got the other day. Just a shame I don't have my Galactus yet!

In my thoughts about Legacy, a bit worried about getting the Armada Starscream (as good as he looks) in the line as I think it’ll open the gate for me to feel obligated to buy more of the Armada releases, but I’ve still got the original somewhere at home.

Hot shot, another character I have the original of somewhere, looks OK in bot mode, but the alt mode looks “off” to me (one of the reasons I’m not convinced about getting Minerva).

Armada Prime is a must buy, as I never had one as a kid, but he can’t be the only Armada character I get, surely?

I think everyone will appreciate that with the cost of living is going to cause a real re think of how much we can afford to spend, and it was certainly different when the Beast Wars figures were released, wasn’t it?
