I've just been looking at the variants for Newage Beachcomber and there's an SG version which looks inspired by The Punisher complete with sniper rifle and a chest logo that's not unlike the iconic skull :D

As a contrast from the regular version they couldn't have done much better, I don't know if it's based on anything from official SG media but I like it!

Ugh, I'm going to regret not getting that guy later aren't I? But they had to go and pack him in with the exact same toy again but boringer.

Definitely busy, I’m having the same thing with Kapow about the missing faceplate for Optus Nox. They shipped out another order of mine this morning but no reply on the faceplate.

Food for thought... It'd be a six hour round trip to see it in person. Annoyingly I was in Leicestershire on Saturday visiting family!

They didn’t even deign to reply to my query as to if I was getting my Acoustic Wave now, like some already have, or if I have to wait til the tapes show up next year. Not even a ‘No, fuck off’.

I've seen a couple of YouTube videos about the vintage toy shop in Leicester, it looks like a fun place to visit even though I'm not a vintage buyer. It'd be a fairly short train journey from either Derby or Nottingham so maybe something I can look into in the future.

    @Decepticreeps100,
    Dry yourself! :D

Having said that I'll probably have the same experience if Newage show Sunstreaker prototypes with a toy based option complete with accurate headsculpt :D

I haven't had chance to do the Prowl pics today but will get to them during tomorrow as I can do them once I've been to the PO first thing.

I, uh, I guess Hasbro UK has prioritised the big buyers* over us Deluxe Weaponizer minnows, eh?

Interesting. Just had a direct email from MMC about the missing part for Optus Nox. It seems Kapow must have contacted them and passed along my email behind the scenes o_O  not 100% sure how I feel about that but I’m glad I might get somewhere

Its pretty common, because if it’s an issue with the stock you need to let the supplier know as otherwise how can you claim it back as a retailer, and also how can the suppliers check or fix the issue? Since MMC produced the figure, it’s pretty likely they would be the ones to fix such an issue rather than Kapow having to write off a figure they purchased to sell to fix an issue. I’ve seen pretty good things about MMC and fixing issues in other posts, I had a big read around after Not Vos was such a huge disappointment before I bought more figures. Hope it gets sorted!

Should probably check mine for that scabbard clip you mentioned too….

The G1 stuff is the big draw, but they aren't afraid to put prices at a premium. But they also have a bunch of more recent stuff, people selling on parts of their collections and the like. There were a few things that vaguely caught my eye (Armada Powerlinx Optimus for £65...), but nothing I was specifically looking for. I don't usually take photos of those shelves because it's not as interesting seeing a T30 Doubledealer and a very dusty 07 Movie Protoform Starscream.

What really tempted me though were some Starcom vehicles. But at £100 I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'll definitely regret that decision later.

I've had to prompt them on occasion but then I think all our e-tailers have that going on, and especially right now.

I finally received Selects Galvatron, the toy I never knew I dreamed of.
It's glorious. It jumped out of marvel comics.
    But. It already looks great...
    Stickers or not?
