    Rocket looks nice for Countdown. I’d be tempted!

    It's at Leicester Old And Vintage Toys. They'll hold items if you ring up, might even post them.

    It's 1:1 scale

    I kind of hope he has the Skull Head TBH... granted that's mostly so I can rip off his head for my Omega Magnus and transplant a Siege Magnus head to him to make Delta Magnus :D

    Who is this Slithe?

    Sounds good to me! I love the pun there :D

    Oh wow, that's a great way of doing it, you're killing this parenting thing :thumb

    My condolences for your loss :(

    ...

    Dinobot Island is rather appropriate for the JP set :lol

    Hurray! Glad to hear it

    It is as far as I'm concerned!

    Well the thread is titled Toy Discussion, not Transformers Discussion. My intention with the GD thread was for all the non toy chat that has a tendency to happen in here.

    Wait, it does?! Then why is the title Toy Discussion? :confused:

    :lolol

    Might be tempted by a red one, though I'm still hoping we get that in the Selects line now that we have Earth mode Mirage and all the Diaclone repaints turning up.

    Not got any of the 'legends' sized figures in clear, as tiny clear plastic joints seem like a disaster waiting to happen.

    @Xaran Alamas,
    Thanks! :)

    @G1 Mirage Owner,
    Seems like a decent bet for a Select release unless it's one of those no brainers that's so obvious to everyone but Hasbro. I think Newage will go for a red one as an alternate option though. Magic Square will probably only do a cartoon one.

    Fair point on the clear plastic. I didn't go for that version of Iron Factory's Mirage despite liking how it looked and have been extra careful with their Ghost Starscream.

    I should have guessed it was MotU :lol
    Thanks!

    I winch when I look at those 3P 100% clear plastic figures.

    I didn't realise IDT was getting Zarak before Pulse. I ended up grabbing one. Double Christmas it is.

    May I remind you of rule#2. Brainstorm's dialogue runs dangerously close to SPICY.

    That is good news, and shows you were right to keep a cooler head than your Mum does (not that you needed me to tell you that).

    And in at number 9, it's Airrazor.
    After the QC/design nightmares that were Cheetor and Blackarachnia, I was a little worried that the Deluxe Kingdom BW figures would all suffer similarly/ So, Airrazor was a relief and a delight. Plus I'm a sucker for a functioning beak.

    My mistake! :lol

    ...

    I meant to say for people doing top 10s, top 5s, whatever, may I suggest you not worry about it being released this year or not but rather whether YOU got it this year?

    Also @barry 's post made me think of it but yeah Airrazor would probably be on my list if I made one :D

    @barry,
    Thanks!

    Mum's dialled it back for a bit after Katie's last couple of calls which is a bonus :)

    Airrazor is one of the only Kingdom Beast Wars characters where I thought both modes were good. Robot mode is excellent and despite the obvious compromises due to animation cheats over real world objects the eagle mode is OK, the functioning beak is definitely a plus.

    I've also given her some extra weapons in the form of the Iron Factory Gatling guns they included with one of the early batch of releases when they included all the extra weapons.

    I wish I had more of them because they're a great sculpt and very versatile as they work on figures in a variety of different scales eg, POTP Blot's shoulder ports, ER Cliffjumper's forearm ports and as neck guns for ER Sky Lynx as well as various other IF lads and lasses.

    Exciting about Black Zarak! Goodness knows where I'm going to squeeze that monster in...
    Fingers crossed the QC is decent on it, too.

    Edit to add - this might even sneak in for the top ten, too... Think I'm going to end up with a 3p top, Hasbro top, and a not-released-this-year top. It's been a very very busy year for bots for me...

    Just had an email from Pulse for a return label for SGJetfire, so that can be gotten rid of, at least.

    Same here! Getting some paints for the miniatures for Christmas and then hopefully have some friends around for board games in the new year (depending on how things are in the world)!

    I hope you know I pack a chainsaw (what?)

    Imagine my fear when I got an email saying my Amazon package is going to be delivered by Hermes!
    IMG_2021-12-20-14-16-23-137.jpg
    But they have somehow combine to deliver this cool set in perfect condition, 10 days before the delivery estimate!

    Clearly a case of 2 wrongs making a right. Like Dr Pepper and vodka!
