I always get Scourge and Nemesis confused. I meant Nemesis. Whoops.

Imagine, though, if Hasbro actually TOLD PEOPLE BEFORE shit came out. Revolutionary eh?

    That’s a great spot mate, I don’t think you’ll ever find that set cheaper….

As for Kup and Cliffy, of all the repaints I could have foresaw for those moulds; Kup and Cliffy weren’t on the list….o_O

Nice re-use of Jazz's Moonbase 1 Backdrop for Cliffy, though it does show the current line differentiation is purely contextual!

Bear in mind that Popcultcha don't do the vat thing.

Not sure how much Australian imports are like USA or how much they are like China.

If they're like the US, you can add your 20% plus admin fee to this for sure. Ballpark £30.

If it's more like China, prepare to add it, and just be very thankful if you don't end up paying it.

But I'm not sure which it'll be!

I've only ever been hit when it went over the £135, recently ordered Selects Galvatron, TR Chromedome and two Pops from them for instance, sailed through.

    Ah, good stuff.

That's actually weird though... if they're declaring the full value, then I can see that over £135 will be snagged.

But assuming they're fully completing the paperwork, surely sub-£135 would also show that they aren't vat registered, didn't collect it at point of sale, and so the vat is due? They specifically say this on their website...

Makes no sense, but good to hear that there's a decent chance that smaller orders will get through!

I've never understood it, and because of the Pops I do a lot of orders with them. Tracks and Joan Jett just the other day lol, beats wondering how they'll show up if they ever do over here. Not dealing with Sonner or wondering when the frig The Entertainer will get them in if they ever do.

Tracks is my concern too. I keep checking Entertainer but nothing so far. I can't see them not getting him, given it's their exclusive... but fomo is real. It's the shipping for one single pop that sends the price to a point where ebay is becoming competitive, though!

Screw it, I've pulled the trigger on the Worlds Collide 4x pack from Oz.

So expect it to be listed for preorder on every UK site this afternoon for £50 - Ya'll are welcome.

I'm sorry to hear this, man! That's a very hard situation to process!

Totally! They absolutely nailed it at the Deluxe price point. Getting Twin Twist and Hot Rod out their boxes and being utterly wowed by them remains one of my most vivid memories as an adult collector.

Got woken up at 2:30am by some clown of a pizza delivery guy who can't tell the difference between 47 and 51. Took ages to get back to sleep and I inevitably slept in. I am now in a state that I would describe as 'fuzzy angry'.

The only way I can personally make it work with Popcultcha is to PO or order other stuff at the same time, so Joan with Tracks and a MOTU thing otherwise I never would have ordered him. And it just shows how much profit is in Pops when singles can be sent from Oz throughout the year and into the next for one shipping fee!

I don’t understand how it works either, but I *assume* that Customs (like everywhere else) have a finite capacity in terms of their workforce and maybe target the more lucrative/biggest offenders? I’m guessing they have to prioritise somehow….

The FOMO curse! I’m still sat on four Kingdom Road Rages where she literally got listed the day after the case I’d bought to try get into peoples hands turned up…..

@Siege Fan thanks for the Worlds Collide spot - that's Fangry and stand-in Bumper on the way from the land down under!

So... I'm going to need Buzzworthy Kup and Cliffjumper.

If they are already onsale, I guess it can't be long until they turn up over here for order/pre-order.

    Nice!

    he's well travelled!

    Alex Sector? Is that you?!

    No. I like the squelch.

I will take any and all remolds of that figure. It was the best thing the Universe portion of CHUG gave us.
I'd be keen to see Hasbro dipping further into the pot to some of the older molds for the select series.

For sure. But at the same time, a properly completed form that says 'hold for vat' in big neon letters would be a quick win, too. Given it's all automated to scan this stuff, you'd think it'd be caught every time.

I must say, as a toon fan, I love the Sunbow markings on Kup's chest!
