All I need now is an official annoucement for Fallen Order 2 and something concrete for Elder Scrolls 6 and I'd be content.

He's neither sweet, nor creamy, nor uncommonly good.

There's some incredible engineering going on with Hook and Long Haul to make the torso, particularly considering the size but fair play to the designer/s for not half arseing it with a full exoskeleton.

I don't usually like complex transformations but that torso might be an exception although I expect a bit of frustration as Magic Square figures always have those tiny tabs that take a bit of locking together.

My biggest recent diversion with collecting has been the dangerous trip back down the Star Wars rabbit hole which was inspired by how much I loved The Mandalorian and getting the original cinematic versions of the OT on blu ray via the DeSpecialised Editions.

Whilst I've stayed with characters from specific eras my heart overruled my head and I have gone a bit too far with 3 different scales during the pandemic but it'll sort itself out as I've already decided to resell all the Vintage Collection stuff which will include the HasLab Razor Crest.

I'd say looking like a beach ball isn't inaccurate. and the beachball one complements the Animated "leader" one's appearance too (oh I've not played with that in years - I wonder where mine is ?).

The RID one (or the Arms Micron one) may complement the Breadown toy better in scale though perhaps.

I still can't figure out what possessed Hasbro to make the least interesting Prime Megatron deco they had an option of - when they could have made the most killer "definitive" version and charged a fortune for it including all the arms microns a new sword, The Forge of Solus Prime, and an alternative arm. Prime Megatron looks the loveliest in a painted metallic flake light greyish (almost white) colour I feel.

I'll have to be pulling out my arms Microns again and some Energon Weapons too - I expect they will be very useful indeed next year.

I don't know how hard the repack/reissue will be to chase up - hopefully someone will review it soon, supposedly the knees are matching colours too and the windows are also paler blue - so it's a pretty significant running change by usual standards - heck one could argue it's more different that Buzzworth Kup is.

Speaking of Buzzworthy Bumblebee, I wonder if they could do Huffer and Pipes in that line and give them the Puffer and Road Ranger heads - that would be lovely to have. I wouldn't mind if they tweaked Pipe's shade of blue or Huffer's orange a bit too for the sake of difference.
They could even follow the suggesting of Cliffjumper and use a greyish tone instead of silver on them perhaps.

Looking at Road Ranger and Puffer their heads look so much nicer to me. failing that I'd not mind other South American decos too - but that may be more of a Boxed set thing to do.

Speaking of Minibots - I bought a cheap second Earthrise Warpath with the intention of repainting him and I think what I may do is keep back the kibble panel and give that to my usual Warpath as I think he looks pretty cool with two shoulder plates.

Next up I need to get a cheap huffer as I have some ideas for his accessories. But I may wait a while as if Puffer and Road Ranger go on sale they may have even more uses to them.

Haha! It was fine thanks. I went straight back out yesterday morning for more drinks. I’m very lucky on that I don’t tend to get hangovers.  

 

Those'cheery' old grandads in the (clearly dubbed) Werther's ads always looked like escaped Nazi's war criminals living in exile in South America to me. Especially with all those blue eyed, blonde & tanned grand kids running about.

I bet young Joachim never wonders why the family can all speak fluent German despite having lived in Buenos Aires for 70 years, or why once a year gradad and his friends put on 'funny' uniforms and toast a red, black and white flag.
