The Blurb said "ASTROSCOPE" so I did wonder if they considered just including a straight re-issue of one-third of the Minicon Space Team (the satellite lad) but just handwaving him as a "Micromaster", or if they originally intended a WFC Micromaster Re-do version like OS's Countdown? The former would make me feel even more justified in picking the full Armada team up!

P.S.: @GrahamFA Looks like TF-Direct still have some!

That did occur to me :-/

Huh, do you know if the Astro Squad repaint in the Bottropolis set was the one originally intended for Sky Lynx?

My question is what happened to that vaguely star sabery design for starscream.

    Astrosquad are great too!

Who was interested in my GI Joe bits on ebay? Can't remember who it was. You can have both for £75 shipped.

The Jurrasic Price set is on UK Pulse - for £113. At that price it's still a Phukno from me.

Edit: it's up on SAF for £100 so obviously a bit better, assuming ID and Kapow will post later at similar.

    MP Skids tomorrow. Allegedly.

It was me, but I’m skint for the next three weeks now I’m afraid:(

Hey look, it’s wave three of a line of figures that hasn’t even seen wave fucking ONE released yet - including yet another official non-transforming Tarn figure!

    Absolute fucking pisstakers.

Thinking on the HasLab Rancor situation, they've potentially gotten themselves into the mess Warner Bros did with the Snyder Cut of Justice League. Fans demanded it, the wider DCU project was dying/dead on it's arse and, endgame, there were shareholders who needed to be kept happy. So the fans got what they wanted and WB got to promote HBO Max alongside the fans doing their PR for them. But that synergy didn't last long...

In Hasbro's case it translates to fans showing they'll walk away from the absolute money spinner that is HasLab itself, at the very least creating precedent if not a very damaging narrative going forward. They tried to salvage it by offering a figure that should have been included anyway over some cardboard and skulls. But they've created other damaging precedents for themselves just like WB did, showing the fans voting with your money works and that Hasbro really do care if these things succeed... but mostly that whatever comes next from them better be up to scratch because mistreatment damaged the 'this is premium and maybe essential? What if I miss out?' vibe.

WB almost immediately said there would be no continuation of the Snyder Cut's influence on the DCU and the fans after their campaign just felt like they'd been used to prop up HBO Max. Because they had. All that goodwill died instantly. Nobody knows how the DCU will proceed, truthfully. That's really what Hasbro's looking at here IMO, the potential for withheld money affecting the entire HasLab project all because they've been nickel and diming by the golden goose.

Trying some photography. Just using the phone camera before I fish out an old DSLR at some point.

Shout out to @Siege Fan for the light box recommendation.

Looking good! BTW, and I'm not one hundred percent on this, but it looks like the brightness on power-up isn't quite the max until holding the + button. Just FYI. Have fun choosing colour backdrops :D

25cm one. Was less than £19 due to Black Friday and a voucher. Quite happy for something I’m trying out.

Also, the product descriptions are all over the place.

Titus Welliver is a SERIOUS Hot Toys and Sideshow nut. His collection is massive.

Wriggly Scott sure chats a lot of shit for someone who hasn’t made a decent movie in years and whose best years are nearly forty years gone…

Hmmm….I can always use more Sharkticons….

I know we all like some wacky food things here and there, but for me this is a slight step too far:

As a Nutella type spread yes….. as a Mayo….. Lord no.
