    Found on Seibertron.

    I have the feeling that those Floro Devy designs really need to be put to sleep. The closer we get to "mini-mps" the clearer it is that these designs are clay sausages turning into people in tracksuits. The only two designs which look like anything are Wreck-gar, which could pass as a Mad Max homage, and Ultra Magnus, which is from Diaclone.

    Could not disagree with you more. Retro futurism is absolutely where it's at, and that someone had the idea in 1986 that cars could look like this in 2005 is just *chef's kiss*.

    Siege Fan told you no such thing! Siege Fan knows the allure of brightly coloured beings in furry pants! Siege Fan has to keep saying Siege Fan because it's too early in the morning!

    Popcultcha, a few people here bought them the other day. They're reliable, use them all the time.
    ...

    Smyths have listed the Bumblebee movie figures, but they'll have none of your pre-ordering. You filth.

    There is another Hasbro Fans First event next week on Thursday 16th, sadly it's Marvel Legends not Transformers.

    I wonder if we'll get a Fans First the week after?

    Sometimes seems like Hasbro's attitude to TF fandom is like:

    Thanks to everyone for your heartfelt messages and reaching out.

    I had a couple of whiskeys last night in memory of him with a Dominos (I recommend the new Festive pizza)

    Feeling ok about it all, it’s life at the end of the day, but he will be missed.

    I think 86 Slag looks pretty good with MP-08 on a shelf. I’d love to buy 86 Grimmy, but I just don’t have room for both, and I love MP-08 too much to ever part with him!

    The wife and I are normally still up at 1.30am doing wrapping on Christmas morning…. This year, completed it all on the 10th which means I get to savour my mince pie and can of coke on Christmas Eve without rushing!! :D

    Chilly out there this morning - stay safe, warm and well folks.

    Dad's got his assessment for the possible cataract op today. The problem is not serious enough that he can't drive in general (it was the first thing he asked) but he was told not to drive to the hospital as the eye drops will be stronger than the ones with the diabetic eye screening and take longer to wear off so he's had to arrange transport who're scheduled to pick him up around 2pm.

    @Vertex,
    Most of the time I jump down collecting rabbit holes quicker than a ferret trained for hunting goes down actual rabbit holes but I really haven't got the space any more so I'm exercising a bit more restraint.

    When I was younger my Dad took us to a lot of air shows as aviation was a big passion of his. He also used to volunteer at the museum that used to be at East Midlands Airport and did a bit of restoration work on some of the aircraft so I got to sit in a couple of different ones including a Vulcan bomber which was incredible to a kid who was mad on Star Wars as a Vulcan was something akin to a real world equivalent of the Millenium Falcon.

    He also used to make a lot of model kits and entered competitions for a while, if I've had Transformers that turn into aircraft he always has a look at the alt modes and comments on accuracy or lack thereof.

    With this kind of background it's perhaps a bit weird I've never owned any Aerialbots but the Legends scale ones from Zeta Toys are a very good bet to break that duck as I really like what I've seen of those so far.

    @Insurgent,
    Udon noodles are like Iron Factory in Transformers, they bring the chunk in some style! :D

    Superheroes (and Cybertronians) often talk about themselves in the third person, for the benefit of the readers. And Victor Von Doom does it as a matter of course. I have a feeling that your house resembles a volcano lair. If it erupts it will rain down plastic over a five mile radius....

    PS - It's still your fault though. :D

    Catching up...

    @Convoy I'm sorry to hear your Dad's poorly, fingers crossed for a speedy resolution.

    @Toadimus Prime that's a good Christmas pressie! Also open Road Rage, she is fab. Legs seem to be better on my copy than poor old Tracks' are. I think he's fab too, I just wish he wasn't made from shatterglass.

    @w00dimusPr1me I'm very sorry to hear about your Grandad. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

    @Ottertron commiserations for your work woes, nil carborundum and all that.

    @CZ Hazard I remember well the joys of space heaters and the horrible things they do to your energy bills when you're brassic already. Ours blew up too, cue us wearing all our clothes at once and stuffing newspaper in them like a pair of tramps. That was a while ago though, hope you get your new boiler installed soon.

    @Imperator loving the Monsterbot photos, clearly a great episode! And @doucoo dearly loves a Moomin, it's nice to see they've taken up residence on this thread.

    @MyTea Boc well done on the work mayhem! Have had to do similar things several times. Always a good time! Sort of.

    @motorthing that squadron of Fakers is looking good. Tempted to buy one, but as you've shown, I'd need three. Then they'd all be taken for He-Man and everyone would think they were in a plotline about clones.

    What do you mean, I thought what is written here is the musings of absolute geniuses!

    I honestly hope no-one ever reads my teams chat with my mate from work, we would be institutionalised for sure, oh and fired!

    Fortunately we have code that will take seconds to decode!

    If I did, covid would be the least of your worries, like cs gas hitting your eyes and taking your breathe away, but smells a whole lot worse!

    See, musing of a genius!
