Yeah I got him , you can see my thoughts here: The UK Toy Discussion
Long story short the legs are a big of a fucker to transform and overall think I prefer the Planet X Vulcun (FoC version) but this guy is definitely in my top 3 third party toys.
In somewhat related news, it's a good thing SS86 Grimlock exists...because the left T.rex arm on my Masterpiece just snapped. Hoping superglue fixes it but not overly hopeful
Fuck's sake, new nightmare added to the list...
Oooh boy, gorgeous pics
I absolutely fucking love this! You know i was perfectly happy with my T3 Swerve, but this is making me think again
Quote of the week!
Geez, look at that epic set up! Are the background and construction bits all diaclone?
You say nightmare, I say "reason nobody will ever make me babysit their kids."
My urge to get retrospective on TR Percy turns out to have paid off in spades, I had a sudden inkling about why I couldn't pull off the tank mode manning without cludging Convex into place by pincering him between the control "podium" and the slide holder - BUT NO MORE!
I got the idea that the reason the wee fella would previously instantly "eject" from his command station, unless pincered in, was all about tolerances...
...namely angstroms of excess mass at his inside ankles!
A bit of light craft knife scraping/shaving into the back corners to really square off the back/bottom corners of the channel between his lower legs...
...and Bob's yer uncle!
Before the minor material removal he actually had too much friction/grip, and not 'not enough' as I had thought before today!
I still prefer having the lens cannon the "wrong" way 'round though!
This will be my first TF convention of any sort. My dad bod will be ready.
Thanks, the display background is a fext hobby sci-fi 06 system and the various grey add ons including the MEWP, medical table, medpod and mobile steps are Feite 3P printed items with magnets specifically made in 1:60 scale to work with Diaclone.
She’s gorgeous. Glad I decided to get her, just hope she doesn’t fall apart anymore than she’s meant to as a weaponiser.
Tarantulas, Inferno and Terrorsaur to go!
How do I angry face a post here?
I have the T30 and one of the United versions (the non shiny version) but Kingdom Waspinator does just enough differently to be worth it, the ankle tilts, the head feeling better, posable wings and more coherent wasp mode are great, still not sure if the wasp head is supposed to tab in for robot form
Glad it’s not just me puzzled about the wasp head in robot mode, it feels like it should but at the same time it just doesn’t either. I can’t decide if I like the purple wings.
It's a shame they haven't offered a clean version yet, but honestly, I'm all good with the mucky look. he's a rumbler our Springer.
Once again I like the way your Brain works. It should be saved for science. I have other more... copyright infringey ideas....
Come on, that one definitely is CG! Feckin beautiful.
Still waiting on a Kingdom Core Class Razorbeast Hasbro... and core class versions of all the OG Basic squad.
I looked up TFNation, never been - it asks for quite a bit of money. Is the agenda anywhere? Is the dealer room worth going to? E.g. if I wanted a Grandus or a Metrotitan, would I find one at TFnation's dealer room?
Computer nerd. Game nerd. Learn the difference n00bs.
Given the Deluge of add on kits for wfc figures, I'm hoping someone gives this guy his AM partner and gun.
Also... g1 colours select series mainframe when?
That's "I threw Galvatron out of Unicron and he landed on Tokyo" regret face right there.
"You know only half of the truth. Our race existed for eons before the Quintessons corrupted it. Generation after generation of Autobot warriors, led by noble Primes such as myself."

Only if his tusks GLEAM in the NIGHT!
The dealer room is usually the busiest part of the event. I can't speak for how it'll be different this year, but in normal years it's absolutely packed. There's no guarantee at all that you'll find specific grails like Grandus there, but you're probably more likely to find them there than randomly popping up on eBay. Toyfu has definitely had Granduses in the past, don't know about Metrotitans. Basically for new stuff you go to the ID or Kapow stalls, for weird and eclectic stuff it's ToyFu and The Spacebridge all the way. Plus a number of dealers tend to have massive tubs of old Bayverse and CHUG where you can occasionally find fun, semi-rare stuff in amongst an ocean of movie Bumblebees.
Hopefully when the Ark gets an Animated Omega Supreme deco...
Don't go there.
Hail To The King.
Would you believe I only went with this one because it was literally easier to find than a T30 one?
You know I wouldn't actually mind if they made a whole team of Throttlebots somewhat similar to Earthrise Cliffjumper's mould.
If the head was easier to get off I suspect some people would be tempted to turn WFCT Bumblebee into Goldbug with some SG Gold bug parts swapping. Since he's already the correct colour.
Why does he have a face like Batman of the Future rather than a face like Grimlock ?
This looks like a fantastic toy and I get that it's based on the IDW version of the character, but its almost a bit too removed from Grimlock for me. I'll still happily see Napalm photos of it all day long though.
I'm disappointed we never got the Dreamwave WFC style Grimlock to go with the Prime and Megs (I don't mean Titanium)
